Good evening folks. Having an unhappy night here.

My father's Alzheimer's facility has decided that they are no longer capable of caring for him and are essentially booting him out at the end of the month.

After 30 mins of making the Director of the facility very uncomfortable on the phone, I got her to agree that they will give us 90-120 days and stay the f*** out of our way while continuing to provide care with a smile for my father until such time as I tell them that we have found a suitable facility and provide them with our move out date.

Your not kidding! Its sickening listening to the way that her agency is run. If it wasnt for the fact of being the government they would be out of business.

Im sorry to hear of that Dave. How can and facility that is supposed to treat it kick out one of its patients. That is ridiculous!

Well, spent all day seeing the doctor...

Good news: the bones are back in position and no need to re-break and/or surgery needed... Just keep it still & heal it up...

Wow that's the first I've ever heard of a facility booting a patient. That's not even remotely kosher wtf over

Supposed to have a follow up appt. next week & get perm cast...

I'm gonna start guzzling milk to help it heal as fast as possible....

We'll see what my body can do....

Yeah well maybe the short time off keeps them from buying 45 , 25,0000 dollar ATVs that have been driven twice in 4 years
