Hey, you have the Commando valve covers--I had those on my 340 for a few years--gave them to a buddy who refurbished them for his 360.
Here is my list so far: aluminum 433 3rd gen hemi built by Indy Cylinder Head, Hilborn IR injection, dry sump oil system, Tremec 6-speed with PPG sequential conversion, full frame and independent rear suspension by Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle, Detroit Speed AlumaFrame front suspension and steering with Porsche electric pump, Viking shocks with General Kinetics active suspension controllers, Alcon Brakes, lotsa tire footprint!
Initial dyno numbers were 641hp, 595 ft-lb, with flat curves due to the road racing profile cam. That was before the dry sump system, and I think those numbers will improve after some collaboration and tweaking by Hilborn and MoTec. It's gonna be a driver, with Vintage Air, stereo, maybe even a cup holder.

Do you already have your 340? Mine is available!

Yeah, it should be fun--if it's finished before I'm too old to drive it. Wheels in the rendering are American Racing. They will be either those or Forgelines; looking at 10 inch front and 10 to 12 rear.

Sweet!! That will sure get some looks!!

Looks like a pretty short walk to the local.:)

Cheers. Even though they are not that popular over here I still managed to get hold of an A body 5 x 4 inch Suregrip 8 3/4 axle, Kelsey Hayes discs and some 15 inch Rallyes.

and to some the sin of all sins, converting to RHD.

but since this is a keeper I don't care what others think.

I don't go in the pub much but what it does mean is that I can work late in the garage and they don't complain about the noise :)

Wow....nice job on the RHD dash conversion! Is that a requirement to drive the car in the UK? I think it used to be in Australia. I can see where sitting on the wrong side of the car would be aggravating while driving. I drove an old mail Jeep that was RHD, here on American roads....and it was a little scary compared to LHD like I've been used to my whole life. Keep up the good work, and post some pics of what you have to do to move the steering box to the right. I think it's interesting.

I'm changing it to a Jaguar power steering rack. it's not a requirement but I live in the south east where there is too much traffic on our tiny roads.

I had a '68 Barracuda many years ago and although I was fine with LHD it never really felt right.

I knocked up a bump steer gauge to see what the rack would do being different dimensions to the drag link and found that it actually improves bump steer. not perfect but good enough.

the engine can be centralised for more clearance on the right hand side and kits are available here to build your own steering linkage.

as I bought it

had been off the road for 20 years

Very nice work!! Amazing you found the 8.75 and Kelsey Hayes there!!

I was stationed at RAF Greenham Common in the late 80's. My personal car was RHD and at work I drove LHD. Talk about confusing!! When I first bought my British car I drove around base getting used to driving on the left. Then I stopped at the insurance agent, went inside to get insurance started, came out, got in my car and there was no steering wheel. Yep, I sat down on the wrong side, lol.
