So I have not advertised my car for sale...but most of us know that "Everything has a price".

I have posted pics of my car on FB mopar forums in things like (side shot saturday, motor monday, etc).
I guy wrote me a few times asking if I'd sell her. Told him that he'd have to love it more than I do...and for me to let it go it'd have to be B-Body money.
To build my car at the quality it is, would be in that range...so I told him mid-upper 30's. And he's interested at that price range...who knows.
What's your number to justify letting yours go?

Not familiar with your car but from the two photos I think he is getting a lot of car for the money.
Very nice!

Do you need 30K more than you like the car?
Will 30K change the way you live?
Will it make a difference in your life?

I only think of money in the terms of the last question primarily.

I always think about the regrets.

And I'd regret selling the only white Demon I've ever seen. Damn that's sexy!

I would only do it to parle into another mopar...not to cash out of the hobby

i think 20k jamie would let her dart go in a heartbeat..

8-10k and my LRE would be out of here in seconds..

Do you need $$$ more than you like the car? need? no.. but would be nice to have.

Will $$$ change the way you live? maybe maybe not. could change which hobby gets more attention.

Will it make a difference in your life? hell yes. could build a kick *** garage and buy another toy, could just be out of the cars all together for a while and travel more, could be a hell of a down payment on a mustang ragtop or could be nice to just put away and add to until i find something that really catches my eye..

there is always another car out there and available.. wouldn't bother me at all getting rid any one of our toys.. in the end they are just cars.

.

If you don't want to sell it, think of a rediculously high price and add a few thousand to it. He just might take you up on it. I gave a guy a real stupid high price on one of my D/Darts and he said yes without hesitating. I still miss that car.

I have zero interest in selling it. But I would let it go for $50k...

well that’s what I’m saying I could live with taking $37k for it and move on to another car or add another 7 and pick up a ‘15 Hellcat

nice ride...stick or auto?

Id let the duster go for 9-11 grand,descent driver,/ 3 in floor.................................jeff

I was the second owner of a 72 Demon in yellow and black. If I could buy it back I would. I should have never sold it. For ANY price.

Won't sell my 73 I have now at ANY price. When I die my wife can sell it. Or give it to her next husband.

I sold one this past spring, I priced it high, the I don't want to sell it price, and told him the price was non-negotiable.
And the guy bought it, paid in cash, did not even have the car for sale.

My brother had a Demon. Green with black. 340 column shift car. I almost killed him when he sold it.

I think A- bodies are better than B-bodies. That's why I'm on this site. That car is worth what any B-body is worth in my opinion. Except maybe a hemi car. A- bodies are lighter, have better style, and are quicker than most B-bodies. What B looks better than your car?

My 69 coronet project caught the eye if a guy buying a hood from me. He asked how much. I said make me a stupid high offer. He did. I packed all the boxes of parts to it inside of it and delivered it 3 weeks later for the rest of the cash. It was a 17 year project that only had the metal work done. It was just a 318 car, nothing special about out it. He came back and bought one of my spare virgin 383 engines to rebuild and install. Gave me stooopid money for that too.... don't regret letting it go. I brought the 68 Ragtop project home a month later for a fraction of what he paid me for the 'net.

That being said, the stooopid $ price to take my I've owned it since it was new, but needs a total paint and partial mechanical rebuild Shelby Dakota would be around $10k. That's at least 2x what it's worth in its current state.

My 69 Fury ragtop that's been on the road for 14 seasons now, would take about $30k. Again, a fair amount more than I feel it's worth.

The 68 B'cuda ragtop in 1000 pieces and needing e erything done - $18k might get my attention.

The 05 Ram 2500 diesel - $40k only because I'd have to go buy another one to pull the camper. Again 2x what it's worth.

My mother-in-law's 2000 cavalier - pshh - I'd almost give it away if she wouldn't notice.........LOL

So yeah. Stooooopid money for people with more of it than brains, because that way it will cost me nothing more to replace it with something else in better shape, or newer, or optioned better.
