Stop in for a cup of coffee

^^^This is good to know. Reading it made me smile because, growing up in FL, going in the Gulf was my Dad's sure for anything wrong with us...cuts, rashes, burns, blisters, head colds ("Do 3 somersaults underwater, frontwards and backwards") and gargle with it for a sore throat.

Have to reset my internal clock now.
Went out with my daughter today. Just a quick ride into town .
Pics are off my tablet. We couldn't get close enough to these guys. It's a herd of around 40 from what I could see . Wild buffalo . Kind of cool.
This is about a half mile from her house.
Today we have my grandsons graduation. Then spend a day or two looking for a house for me.
She has been trying g for almost a year now to get me to move up here.

I find it amazing that a company will go thru all the effort to repop parts, like that console top, and not have it be PERFECT fitting. Why bother? I mean were glad they exist at all, but how much harder to make it right?

It's hard to get the fit right when you reverse engineer a part... If you don't know the original dimension and tolerance, then you use a production part as the master, how do you know that production part was not one that was to the outer edge of the spec limit, then you copy that and add your tolerance and it goes outside the original manufacturer part print spec...

Most manufacturers don't give their print and specs out for others to copy...

4:59. Waking up tired. Never a good thing.
Gmc overfueling to diagnose. Thinking its maf sensor.
Will check temp sensor, see if its in range.
Would rather do a brake job...

Hey,Ray!
Never mentioned i saw a couple sun machines at the swap meet.
I kept my distance as i knew if i got too close i would be starting a new collection.
Looked like man cave decor though beat up and no way to see if they worked. Couple hundred apiece.

That's about right. I just look for the deals on them, getting pretty good at it. Got that vat 40 yesterday, appears it all works wont know if the charging side is accurate till the truck is running!

1-2-3-I'm fourth...Good Morning!!

Fresh pot of coffee is done and ready.

Ray, i saw a charger on Kijiji that was quite interesting, definetly man cave decor.
Will see if i can find it.

Hey Mitch, Ray....just another day. Spent an hour or so working on the car yesterday, car show Saturday. Had a few little spots I touched up with paint and brush. Ya I know brush, it can be done and done to where you can't tell. I got to Hobby Lobby and buy a bag of artist brushes for $5. I use them once and toss. Also I found the sponge brushes (comes in same $5 bag) are great for anything on the firewall or engine. Again use it once and toss.

Today driving down to the shop and check on the 55. The custom radiator we've been waiting forever for came in last week. They should be close to done.

I am not pulling the windows till after Carlisle, trust me it is rusted enough in there,

What kicked my *** was I did not pull the speaker and the nuts in the back kept hitting the speaker frame. Took a few beers to realize it did not want to break them pretty brittle but all there.

I may need the window regulators, mine look like they were stored in a puddle. Have to blast them and see if they still work.
