Well my get-up-and-go got up and went with my wife's honeydews! LOL it looks like I'm trying to get something open to start next week just working on the car and getting it back together. I got a bunch of the gaskets now but still will wait for my intake manifold gasket and alternator bracket. OnTrack effed-up and now they're sending me another one. Anyways hopefully I'll have some pictures posting up in the next couple days if it going back together. TAKE NOTE YELLOW ROSE!!!!

I debured the heads when I had them in my hands, but I didn't get my hands on the Block before prep. It did get shot peened and everything.

What lifters are you going to use on your project?
 
First time I have used JB weld in a while. Musta got a little crazy with the welder gettin that bolt out.

At least you are getting more done than I am. Scatter shield isn't here, and getting someone on the phone from Lakewood to figure out where it is is pissing me off

Made more progress got some stuff painted and of course get another can of gasket cinch as mine had turned into paste lol instead of a runny liquid. Things seem to be clicking back together quite easily and cleanly..... Scary...

I had to pull those suckers out of the sun it was 91 degrees out there my goodness I think it's going to start on fire!
I'd be real happy if I had those two gooped on tonight after it cools down a bit.

Hell...I don't even have a certified bell housing yet!!!!! After 40 minutes on the phone with the Holley people I know exactly what I knew before I called them. Nothing. Supposedly I can call them tomorrow for a tracking number. So now...I'm not sure it even shipped.

Honestly I can't say....
He could be like the guy at the car show with no car at the show but "has one WAY better at home"... ya know the one, it's a 600 C.I. small block, twin turbo, nitrous 6 second, ford hemi chevy....

Yes I own a car. Pictures have been posted. Doesn't matter if I own a car anyway. Owning a car no more makes you a machinist than standing in your kitchen makes you a chef.

Yeah you have to be paying close attention if you want to see yellow roses car. He's posted a couple pictures the very far and very few in between. He can usually be found with the thin-skinned people over in the political forum. Discussing worldviews with bunch of banana brain motorhead's LOL.
He's promised to have that bucket of bolts together by the end of the summer. The big problem is he keeps letting all his Parts go out to other people letting things get out of his hands. Then he's going to write checks and expect other people to put it in ???
I think I have to make a comment on another thread and start this little battle somewhere else.

I already posted the car. You missed it. Too bad. I'm not big on pictures. In fact, there are less than half a dozen pictures of my wedding. Never understood the fascination with picture taking.

Generally I'm a pretty private person and don't take pictures of other things and put them out there especially of myself or anything like that. Mostly I try to keep the pictures just to the car parts and the parts that I'm working on. And those are posted mostly so people can get in idea of what I'm working on and how I'm doing it. And that's mostly for people who haven't done it before and looking for an example.
A picture is worth a thousand words...

I'm not sure that picture is even there any more. I went to delete some pictures of some stuff I sold and ended up cleaning out all the pictures. I think that happened after I took those pictures of my car.

I could post some pictures of my dogs though. That's the only pictures I've taken since the big picture debacle.

I get it. I just never got into picture taking. Way back in the day when I was prom king, I damn near went into the looney bin. I've never seen people so wanting to take pictures. Everywhere I turned it was snap, click, click flash. Drove me nuts.

The real war came when the chick who was the lead singer on the band called us up to do our dance and she asked if we wanted a slow dance or a fast dance. The floor was so slick I could barely walk across the thing.

So I explained to her that if she wanted the King and Queen out there, it would be a slow song. And...then more picture. Unreal.
