Stop in for a cup of coffee

ok, as i go through this thing, I will take pics and ask you all. I can see having to splice ends and such for this universal one to work until I track down a complete original harness
What happend to the one from the car? Damaged or not, it should be a decent guide.

No don't splice packard 56 connectors are the poop! any MONKEY CAN DO IT, even Chris CAN DO IT!:poke:

25 packard 56 14/16 gauge terminals on amazon.ca-$70.09 wow!
I used to sell lots of them.
Echlin made them as well as dominion auto.
Now-no vendors carry them as far as my parts supplier go.

wiring and me do NOT get along. I can read any engineering blueprint, weldments, structural etc. when it comes to wiring, I pass those things off or consult an electrical engineer to walk me through those diagrams.

You can reuse all of the plastic plug connectors, if not melted, just have to splice on new connectors. Which are available.
The connectors appear to mostly be intact, at least the ones present. The rear half of the harness is nearly completely gone and what is left is a homemade harness using what looks to be some sort of trailer wiring kit.

So?
LL: Don't buy from 'zon!
Wayteck Wire, Repair Connector are just two with websites that are good supply centers for this stuff. Del City is another. Most also carry the mopar type female terminals.

Fuse box is not the main distribution point.

Tim's trying to help you on two fronts. And he's right to do so.
Concept of electrical power.
Power is the combination of voltage and current.
Voltage is the potential to flow. There can be voltage even if there is no flow. For example when the engine is off, every wire attached to the battery psoitive has the same voltage. Go measure the voltage from ground to battery positive, and then ground to the alternator output stud (marked Bat). Both will be 12.5 Volts. It's like having a a well pump and water tank on the roof of your house. With all faucets closed and the pump off, there's pressure at the tank outlet.

Current is the amount of flow. Open the faucet in the sink and that pressure sends 5 gals per minute through the pipes into the sink, and from there to ground.
It wouldn't hurt to learn this stuff. Here's a Chrysler A/V about it
1963 Fundamentals of Electricity and Magnetism from The Master Technician Service Conference Series (Session 184)

The other part is how to read a wiring diagram.
Start at the high voltage source.
If the engine is running that's the alternator; if its not running then its the battery.
(Because the alternator output is regulated to roughly 14.5 Volts, and at best a battery will be 12.8 or so. (It will float a little higher but as soon as current flows its going to drop.)
Tim's explained how the lines represent wires and dots are connections.
and there's more here.

Well said!

He has the early tec stuff down , great fellow

Moved some stuff out of pole shed, farmer renting my land was concerned about the weather.
So i offered it to him in case it rains. He’s happy.

Otherwise its a long drive around to his yard, as bridge is closed to oversize traffic.

Help was needed and you had what was needed, groovy groovy move on your parts

I need to get this in a frame. I got it at the Nats at Hemi Denny's tent. Butch Leal signed it as well as Joe Pappas.

The picture you have seen that was drawn for me that 66340SEDAN's friend did ?? I took it there and it cost me just 55 bucks to have it dun , I would check there..

I haven't measured the artwork yet. I just need a glass or plastic front frame with no matting.

Looks like 12x18. Pretty common size. Frames from $6 on up.
