Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning all!
A lot was accomplished yesterday.
All my storage stuff is done.

Emptied my trailer of shingles.
Went to transfer station, stopped on scale, and scale operator had to look in the trailer. Climbed up and slipped. Broke my taillight off. I got the load for free:lol:

Didnt want to tell her i was replacing the lights anyway...

Hey Hops....decided to pull the entire dash and front window.
Cleaning it this weekend and found some surface rust.
Got a buddy who does powder coating and has a bead blast cabinet big enough he can put the dash in.
Going to blast it, treat it, prime, and paint.
Yesterday, ordered a rebuild heater box gasket set from Detroit Muscle and a windshield gasket from Route 66.
With three of us it should all happen pretty quick.

I might have him power coat (I feel better protection ) the area hidden under the dash pad and underneath area not seen.
I'll go with paint for the area seen on top. Paint and powder coating have a different texture.
I want that original look

Morning guys, Just remember to grind the powder coat off where bolts are attached so the dash frame cam provide a ground path. You might want to rethink powder coating.

Oh it was just me thinking out loud there a few minutes ago.....ya think I'll stick to paint.

Dang, it must be time to boil out the coffee maker. It's taking forever.

I just have to say, what is the weight capacity of a old building's floor before it collapses into the basement. Then magnify that by jumping up and down.

Good Morning All! Last day of my weekend, got stuff to do. Went to pick up my new 9mm Saturday and ran into a problem with address'. Have to go get a power bill and go back to the shop, my ID's still have our place we sold in June on them. The trip to the gun shop wasn't a total waste though, wife found a conceal carry purse for her 22 and we caught a pretty good flick Bad Times at the El Royale.
