What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Started modifying the K frame and looking up header components because the manifold idea will look like crap.

The weather was in the upper 30's today so I took the Dart out for a little last minute Christmas shopping. It's the best gift I could have given myself!

Stainless fuel line in. Minor struggle. Should have done it with the gas tank out and the rear end out but I was impatient. Only pic I got but it all eventually tucked in nicely.

Modded the knframe and trans tunnel to get it where I want it. Measured up for some header ideas. That’s still up in the air, but in the meantime I’m fabbing up mounts and a trans mount.

Cummins turbo diesel!
I'm working this week at the Cummins Engine plant that builds the 6.7 turbo diesel engines for dodge.
Brand new engines everywhere! I'm not a diesel fan, but it's still pretty cool. Sorry, but I'm not allowed to take any pics inside the plant.
They actually have the first dodge truck they ever built an engine for on display. I'll ask tomorrow about getting pics of that.

Hunting down the hard to find parts for a restoration. Anyone seen the needle in these hay stacks?

Getting prepped to install a Mini Split in the garage to keep it warmer and dryer this time of year and Cooler this summer!

'66 Monaco 500 parts, mostly the shiny stuff inside. Not much for trade to sent on a boat, more '66 C body sheet metal and trim.
I have a 67 New Yorker if that helps any. Also might have a few extra pieces off a 66 Sport Fury. LMK C

Did not get much work done on my 67 notch. The rain came in early afternoon and we got a little snow on the 2 mountians .

I got my car back after 2 and a half years of sitting under my parent's porch across the country. :) What I did with my car was get it a new battery since the old one finally crapped out and drove it 15 minutes home. Ran great! Lots of things to do to restore it back to former glory.

The Dart meeting her new, younger sister (06 Charger R/T, my daily driver):

Bought a set of KYB shocks a while ago. Installed the new fronts when I did the front end rebuild early last year. Had nothing going on last Saturday so I put the rear shocks in. Pulled out a set of Monroe's that were beyond gone. They didn't even rebound after compressing them. Haven't gotten a chance to test drive the car yet though. Maybe this weekend I will.

Since it's WAY warmer this weekend I intend to finish installing the shifter and STILL chasing down a friggen leak in the water pump area. Haven't been able to lock it down since drips from the leak are running down the balancer. I can't see where it's coming from and it's pissing me off!

There is a weep hole in the neck of the pump housing hidden by the pulley. You might poke a dry finger under there and bring it out wet. I just did this about 6 weeks ago.
Thread title above says "today". During the past few days I've spent several hours and a few dollars to change the argent lower portion of my rally dash to burlwood. Pretty much opposite of OEM deluxe décor. Too much trouble considering I might not like it when done. LOL One thing for certain... the dang little fish on the glove box door has to go! I do have a fully chromed script that will look outstanding over the burlwood. Anyway... Thanks to Detroit Muscle Tech' for their support.
