Last weekend when he set the Hoppy rebuilt distributor in #1 was one off because of a lack of space to turn the vacuum advance.
Today set #1 dead center, moved the plugs over one and presto!!
Glad that's done!!

Now all that's left for now is finding that Carter carburetor. :D

I looked and couldn't find one at the swap meet yesterday..

Saw a 68 383 one, and one for a 69 440... :popcorn:

But none for a 69 383.... :BangHead:

Just got back from a UBER run. Pretty funny had to go to the pot shop for her. There is a roster food truck set up outside. Mostly munchie food but killer Chili! Smart man!

Almost made it to cleaning up the tools. From yesterday. Customer showed up too soon.
That airlocked intrigue, i drilled a few holes in thermostat, jacked up passenger side,vacuum filled the rad and then put pressure to it to bleed air. Running cooler and no airlock.
