Well in a fit of bravery I quit ghosting the E body sight and tried joining up one more time. I tried a long time ago but just was not a good fit. Well good news Barracuda has been started.
Like @toolmanmike said it was something simple.
Last weekend when he set the Hoppy rebuilt distributor in #1 was one off because of a lack of space to turn the vacuum advance.
Today set #1 dead center, moved the plugs over one and presto!!
Glad that's done!!
Now all that's left for now is finding that Carter carburetor.

I measured old steel vs new steel and i was correct. Same gauge. Both measured at .065.

Mine did and it might be a good thing the morning thickness got smaller!
Man When I fall into it I fall into it just got commissioned to do a 67 440 Prestolite dual point to look stock with a petronix in it! Just so happens I have the old hores to do it!
