Interstate 5! Took years to replace this interchange.

This Quake kiled hundreds years after the initial damage. How? Well, the only other way from the south to the valley to the north, was over hwy 395, a two lane hwy. Several got killed by unsafe passing. Dozens...

I 5 & 14 interchange. CHP officer rode his motorcycle of the end of it trying to get work because he felt the quake and wanted to help. The contractor I started with was working on that interchange when the quake struck. Many of the uncompleted structures were flattened.

You guys can have your quakes out west. I would rather stand in my front porch and watch the tornado's go by. EF5 and my buddies Toyota. It ran after the storm. Good thing he got out and got into a cooler in a restaurant. There was a 2x4 through the drivers seat onto the floor. In frame #13 you can see Kasler's equipment on the job site. Their paving machine in the bottom left corner. I fed that machine a whole bunch of concrete while I was with them.

My view at the monent. Buddy is trashing the rotten bracket. 1/8” to back up bracket then weld bracket in. Holes in side of frame.
More than i was expecting. But by this afternoon it will be as good as new. Ugly, but good as new.
