Well in a fit of bravery I quit ghosting the E body sight and tried joining up one more time. I tried a long time ago but just was not a good fit. Well good news Barracuda has been started.
Like @toolmanmike said it was something simple.
Last weekend when he set the Hoppy rebuilt distributor in #1 was one off because of a lack of space to turn the vacuum advance.
Today set #1 dead center, moved the plugs over one and presto!!
Glad that's done!!

Now all that's left for now is finding that Carter carburetor.

I looked and couldn't find one at the swap meet yesterday..

Saw a 68 383 one, and one for a 69 440...

But none for a 69 383....

Mitch was first at 1:01 am. I b second. I go in for a stress test today. I went to he Dr. Yesterday for my diverticulitis and she heard a funny heart valve sound when she was checking me out. I could have damaged it yesterday while shoveling snow. Hopefully it's nothing. Never a problem in that area and no family history either.

Almost made it to cleaning up the tools. From yesterday. Customer showed up too soon.
That airlocked intrigue, i drilled a few holes in thermostat, jacked up passenger side,vacuum filled the rad and then put pressure to it to bleed air. Running cooler and no airlock.
