Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well tried to take the Duster but she got a nasty vibration/shake in the front end that travels through the whole car. Turned it around and limped it home. Luckily we weren’t to far from the house. I’ll get it up on stands and check it all out this week. Kinda bummed Mom wasn’t able to see the car.
 
I’m just playing with trains on this cold, damp and dreary day. The GM Aerotrain needed a make over...

Sticky brake? Would explain the smell.
 
Was a nice day here in sunny Manitoba. Didnt start so well.
The week looks good,other than the fact i need to get riding mower going. Grass will need cutting almost immediately.

Buddy got his excavator home,so i can get my water line to garage repaired this summer. I may think about a summer line to my shop, washing the floor would be awesome. I wash it occasionally now but a hose would be better.
 
Today is Mother’s Day and while it may seem strange (it does to me) I had very vivid dreams last night with both my deceased Mother and Grandmother in them. They were waking me up, telling me they loved me and that they knew I needed more rest. Then they each tucked me back in and told me to have a good sleep.

Weird, but it seemed very real...and today they are in my thoughts more that they have been in the recent past.

That’s not a bad thing. :)

Hey Tim. It is here. Probably gonna turn into a Cat 5 hurricane here. I fell asleep on the couch sometime after 6 pm, just work up. Sure the wife’s not gonna be happy in the AM seeing how she got defaulted to having to give baths and get kids in bed by herself on Mother’s Day. I feel bad about it actually. Guess all the days of not sleeping the past week finally caught up.

We've had plenty the last couple weeks. Finally going to get some dry warmer weather this week.
Suppose to rain all weekend though. Putting the car show in doubt.

Guess today im back to rust repair.
If all goes well it should be out the door today.
The 78 el camino showed up, looks like a millennial had his hands on it. Wiring chopped,parts missing for shift linkage. No seats.

Ya, blue lights under the front bumper. Dash hacked for a din stereo.
It was an estate sale, present owner got it cheap. I hope. Its going to be a long haul to get it sorted out.
