It's Satellite Saturday!
Good morning!
I'm thinkin' Ventura Speedway this evening.
Farther south and the rain be later arriving.
Should be a good show.
They have a 10pm curfew that is strictly enforced.
Home before midnight.

Rons list:poke:
Exhaust clamps
all brackets
fender bolts
bumper bolts
antenns nut
Radio nut
And the list goes on!
all bolts. Want to get him a tourque screwdriver one day when the monte is finished! He did take the tourque wrench I dropped and put in the scrap pile. Hope he did not do the engine with it!

Just got back slim pickings this year. Got a few metal snippers and a inch pound beam style torque wrench. $3 for it all!
Hit a yard sale earlier. $2.25 for an older 2ft Craftsman level, 3 honing stones, a Red Devil putty knife and a funnel. All in nice condition.

Last week I actually did better. There was a yard sale right by where the car show was. Got a nice barely used Fiskars lopper, unused Bluepoint putty knife, and a roll of copper. all for $5

We live not far from US highway 50 and today is the national yard sale week along that highway from cost to cost. Crazy the number of yard sales

Header gasket replaced, thermostat gasket replaced, adjusted steering box, plug wire repaired, front brakes looked great. Put the car in neutral and i’ll be damned if the rear isn’t locked up! WTF? So I crawl under the car to give a look, I remember seeing the parking brake cables dangling last week when I was doing the drivers side header gasket and I had I adjusted them. Thought well damn maybe I got them too tight. So I grabbed some wrenches to back it off, and just for ***** and giggles I grabbed the parking brake handle to see how many clicks it would pull out and by god if it wasn’t already applied! My dumb *** forgot to release it last week after adjusting it! :BangHead:
Released the brake pulled the drums and cleaned everything up. Put all back together and took it for a spin. All is well! 70mph smooth as glass! Pull the tank tomorrow and replace the grommet. Hopefully road trip in the near future!

Has a great time at the Omaha MOPAR Show today. Rain held off and it was a great day. Got to meet and talk with Dave aka Jaws, John aka Sublime One, Lonnie and Steve the local guy.
Lots of nice cars!! We did well and had lots of people talking to us about the car.

Still cold and wind howling.
Traffic was nuts today, cars backed up a mile i think.
People driving across bridge are crawling, almost at a standstill.
This one lane traffic will be over soon enough..
Then we get to deal with people driving way too fast. My turnoff is just off the bridge, i can expect to see some good collisions. Too many narrow misses already.

Polara has a new electrical system. I need to source some Alternator bolts to finish that up. But productive say. Had the help of a couple car club buddies and one is an electrician by trade and he checked the wiring harness all out with his tools.

I sprung for the Wheel Vintiques 15x8 OE Chrysler style steel wheels with the SBP and 4" backspacing. Mounted 275/60-15 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. They fit perfectly on the back of the Demon. Can put my thumb between the tire and spring and it clears the inside wheel lip.
