No need to do that. Lol. I was talking about the Tune up tester for 250 haha. I’ll get the battery tester regardless.I will buy it just for you picking it up. They are great to check the loads on battery and alts.

Guess we’ll find out hahaThat's just gas money. Now how to get it to say Carlisle?
Quite honestly, I’m still planning on going. My unit is so desperate for me to re-enlist, they are sucking up big time. I’ve had every one from a Star down to an E5 begging me to stay. They will likely let me split train. That's just gas money. Now how to get it to say Carlisle?
If I do it, it’s gonna be a year or two at a timeDo it the end is near. Why throw away the years you have in.
it’s been approved by everyone but the final signature, the Post CSM. Went to his desk last week but he’s been out of town for 3 weeks.Just tell them you were planning on this for a year even before you switched units. Should be able to make it up. Biggie is the two week one.
yeah I keep getting told that by others who got out with 10-15 years. I don’t know. I figure if I just do a year or two at a time, if the bullshit gets too deep, it’s a short time to get out. Biggest concern, im finally in good unit. With good officers, good taskings, great NCOs and a unit that actually takes care of their soldiers. First time in 14 years. I don’t wanna do a long term and have the state transfer me out of that unit for who knows why.Talking as an old head....I have a few things that I wish I had followed through with and stuck with back in the day. Just sayin there Chris
Happens all the time here. Seen it all too often. Usually done to backfill slots for various reasons. It’s done much more so at the E6-E7 level than the E4-E5 level. Then at E8 it seems to stop altogetherUnusual in the guard to get a mandatory transfer unless the base closed. Then you usually are out of the enlistment contract from what I have seen.
yep. Usually starts out as TDY or similar but you’re drilling with that new unit. Then after so long, if both units agree to it(which they always do), they’ll push the mandatory transfer thruReally a complete transfer? I have back filled but still belonged to my original unit. Army thing I guess.
yeah, for me it’s the insurance that is the big drawI wish I would have put up with the bullshit when I was young and a hot head. But nobody could tell me. Now I have to work until I am 68 to get a lesser retirement.
It’s due to the large NCO shortageNever seen that in the Air Guard
I’ve found that seems to be the case for me too. And I’m much younger, no offense. Plus, I think economically, things gonna get bad in about 5 yearsI hear you Tike I have done everything right and am getting screwed!

I'll bet he didn't have to twist very hard. Morning all, nice day here.So quick update from MITP show lots of FABO here. We will sure miss all of you who didn't make it. Special shout out to TMM for enduring the week from hell and still making it. I will take the remains of the good scotch to the tent today. Sadly the bottle did not survive yesterday unscathed. Zman twisted my arm and we did a serious quality control check on it. We only had the groups health and safety in mind. Turns out it is fine and safe to consume.
