I have been attempting to put together enough Members from the Forums FBBO, FEBO, and FABO to qualify for a Free Tent at the July Chryslers at Carlisle Event. I have to apologize for the late notice here, as it got past me when posting on the other sites. If you are registering for the Event, please add FBBO to your affiliated Club, and feel free to come by the tent for some needed shade from the hot July Sun. It will also be a place to meet up with some other Members from the Forums many of us frequent for info & updates to our Hobby, and maybe deliver or pick up parts from Members we've traded with throughout the year. The number needed for the tent is 25, and I believe we are just about there for it. One other thing is you DO NOT have to be registering a B-Body, any vehicle registered can put what ever Club designation down on their form. You can get more info on this venture on the FBBO website, under the Shows & Events Forum. Thanks, and hope to see You at Carlisle in July...

I know some of the guys in the coffee thread are going and posted a link in there to this thread....

I already registered using FABO as my club, does that help you, or does it need to be FBBO?

I'll check on it, it can probably be changed with a phone call. We're real close, so hope we hit the mark, and get set well before July. Thanks

We are lagging in the number required for the Free Tent at The July Show, so if you are Pre-registering, Add FBBO for your Club affiliation, and stop by to escape the Summer Sun, Thanks...

I will stop buy, I normally just walk in, pay the fee, not bringing any cars.

Still looking for Registrants for Carlisle, ADD FBBO to your Registration, and come use the Tent at the Show, Thanks...

I got my pass in December
Used FABO as club
Going thurs to Sunday
Any idea where tent will be located ?

I posted in the other Carlisle Events posting a link to the FBBO Carlisle tent information. If any of you guys want to be listed on the roll call sheet, just let me know and I will update the list to include information as user name, type of car, swap meet location, etc. I have received information from VTDodge and have added him to the list.

This way, maybe you guys can use this as a stepping stone to further advance the concept of a tent and impromptu get together for the 2020 show as we are already down to less than 32 days to the kick off.

The roll call is listed on page 7 along with a tentative schedule that Hsorman put together. We are open to suggestions, offers for support, etc. This is something to put together a face to a name and make an already remarkable event even more memorable.

Here is a listing for the roll call that I have currently put together for those attending the Carlisle show. If your attending the show and want to add your name to the list, send me your name or respond to this posting and I will update the listing. Hopefully this will help to identify people as to their cars, swap meet spaces or interest. The week of July 4th, we can finalize a strategy of planned greets and meets. By adding your name to the roll call does not make it a necessity that you attend the meet-ups.

When you went on line to register for the event, you should have had the opportunity to select a club affiliation from a drop down menu. That is the method in which the Carlisle group is able to determine how many people registers under any one group and the manner in which they award club participation with a free tent for the weekend. You can only select one club under your registration.

I'm not taking a car just attending. (I remember when parking was on the grounds back in the 80's & 90's)

I will be there, no car, just some parts and Beer!!!

The event directory will be sent out to print this week. So the Carlisle staff is is still fine tuning all aspects of the directory. Once the finalized version is all set for print, the map will be published to the Carlisle website and then we can view the layout of the show field and the location for the tent.

Dan, you just beat me to the posting. Once the site has been posted as the Carlisle website, we will post over here with the location. The proposed schedule for all meets and greets for the tent are up for discussion. This is what you guys want it to be. I think that the more that we put into it, the more that it will be a success and will only make next year's efforts bigger and better. So please offer all and any suggestions. Less than 20 days away!!!!

For members here on the site that want to stop by and take advantage of the FBBO tent, it will be in the Red Show Field in spots IG 43 and 44. As we get closer to next weekend, we will put together some more details for the planned meets and greets.

Hope that the FABO guys along with the FEBO and FCBO groups can come together to support the cause. Let me know of anyone coming that I have not listed on our listing and spots.

Thanks,
Richard
