Hard to get the metallic to lay down even I bet. F8 is pretty in the sun though.
You need the right gun/settings with metallic. Other wise Zebra is what you get....
I am SO glad the Satellite is not metallic....Red is easy to spray!!!

Is that the one that was made on a lathe for you???
No. Ezloader boat trailer hub. Oil filled. Neglected, smoked the hub. Typical with that outfit.
The hub is .650 shorter, so i had machinist machine bearing register deeper into hub. Is good now. Other side had about 10 revolutions left before it destroyed itself too.

Hey TJ there is a Mopar Show in Grand Forks tomorrow night 5-9 at Culver's restaurant Grand Forks. Sounds like it might be pretty good. Buy ya a beer if you come down for it. I have never been to it so not sure if it is worth the border hassle or not. Hockey season is getting closer with every passing day!
Go Jets!
Would like to check it out, but this week im prepping quonset for a party. A few friends celebrate their birthdays in august, and rain in forecast for sunday. I have room for a lot of people to gather.

Got the quarter glass in put all the new weather stripping in on the drivers side....put the passenger side in a couple days ago....running out of stuff to put on....YES!!!

So a rookie like me spraying a metallic is a bad idea

It depends on what you are expecting it to look like!!! But yes, I would say that as a rule......
Figures. I finally found the shade of green I want, I don’t care about whether it’s metallic or not but it’s the shade I’m after. Sadly, this paint IS a metallic

The issue is the spray gun will want to spray heavier in the center then the edges. So you will get more flake in the center then the edges. Hence, the Zebra look...gun needs to atomize correctly, and you need a good gun to do that...
