As I couldn't afford to insulate and heat my garage this summer, and I'm not doing hockey photography this year, I'm probably going to have some free time, so I'm thinking of blowing the dust off of all my modeling stuff.
As I grew up with lots of short-track (paved and dirt) racers in my family and friends, I'm into that a lot more than drag racing.
I haven't found many A-body stock car pics. Chevs, Fords, yeah, those I can find.
Interior, engine, running gear shots, as well as track shots would help me.
I'd like to model up a few A-body stockers this winter.

I cant help you with pix, but can with models. Round 2 released some repops of AMT chrysler kit cars. These were the short track stock cars you bought in kit form thru chrysler in the 70s. One was a 71 petty dart short tracker. There were plymouth duster and dart sport releases of thos kit as well. I have the petty short track dart. Kit instructions even comes with a recommendation on which model paint color to use. I built half of it, lost interest in it for now. Maybe I will pick it up again some time. Happy hunting. Check hobby lobby, or ebay.

I've seen the Round 2 cars, want to get a few of the Petty dart kit cars. I was in Green Bay about 6 years ago, and the had the AMT Duster kit cars for $5 a piece.. kick myself for only buying one... should bought the 20 he had.

FB has several Mopar racing pages with plenty of pix
I gave up FB a year ago.. life is much better without it, lol. I'll ask the wife if she can look that up for me... she seems to love seeing what everyone made for super today.

Fakebook sucks. I ditched it years ago. Much happier without it.

That
That gas spout is cool! Oddball thing that would be fun to model. That's a good car to remake.
No back spoiler, and front end is different. Be fun to make it right to the yellow #77 car.

Looks like a Dodge Dart 'kit car' :

And I think Round 2 is repoping those. I might have found a subject car. Bright yellow, big tires, flared fendered A-body :)

The Duster model I built, the headers sucked, were down so low the car sat on them with the front tires off the ground. I used solder to make better ones.

I guess it's all in what you make of it. Was a confusing social media to me. Plus too many people with loose lips on there telling the world everything about themselves from the palm of their hand. I find FABO is more my speed as far as social media goes. It's got 95% of what I want in a website. The other 5% drama and B.S. I ignore. Plus Zuckerberg can go Suckaturd. They set their computers to filter out conservative posts and thoughts. While leaving liberal posts and thoughts intact. Definitely not a neutral medium.
