Stop in for a cup of coffee

Need to put a little rubber grommet on the top of the hood pop up spring. Seems the top of the spring is scuffing the bottom of the hood where they meet when I put the hood down. Never had this problem before.
I can get something to leave on and then pop off when I'm showing the car. Seen others do it just never paid attention to what they did.
Looks like a trip to the hardware store.

My antenna gets 11 channels and then I have fire TV stick. Gets a ton of channels through prime. Dam cable and dish were ridiculous.

A rubber crutch pad might help. Yep, hardware store should have what you need. Menards has a bunch of that kind of stuff as well.

Why not try a vacuum cap on the end of the spring...

Either the vinyl or rubber type.... (That's what she said.... :D )

Funny you mentioned rotor my antenna is on a rotor and it is not working right just picked up a omni directional antenna plan on putting it up this weekend.

I have seen people use the same rubber off of one of the hood alignment supports up on the cowl that can be adjusted. Forgot the name of them.

Did you hear about the two antennae that got married???

The ceremony sucked, but the reception was awesome.... :D

This just the rubber

I thought about checking the plumbing section sure I'll find something.

And I think I have a couple of those somewhere in the garage.

@toolmanmike
Mike did you ever get one of those battery topper plates. I saw you in the thread I read this morning.
My resto battery is fading again. I'm not buying another one, time for plan B.
