Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am still into the Rat Rods. Here is mine and building a 1931 Model A Sedan with 460 for my 17 year old now.

@dukeboy_318

If you are interested in that option, just send me a PM and we can work out the details, answering questions and so forth.

Sure will do,I’ll be in and out of here today, I’m finishing up a few things with the family today from the grandmother passing and then I’ll get with ya.

@71GSSDemon 460 in a Rat Rod :steering: That should produce some :wtf: was I thinking moments. 71&2 460s were pretty stout both rated at 500feetpounds.

Every 17 year old Senior in high school should have a big block rat rod. The 460/C6 came from his grandfather on his Mom's side who recently passed away. We have a Stealth intake and Thumpr cam for it. 9" out back with 3.55 and Detroit Locker. Will be interesting on 4" wide hard biased ply tires and Model A spoke rims.

Mine has a 472 Caddy motor in it right now. May end up with the 440 727 out of the Demon when the 340 is complete and ready to go back in. That will be a while though.

Wet day here. Rained a little earlier and more on the way. Neighbors took advantage of it to light off their massive pile.
Good Morning

A quick glance at the picture made it look like a trampoline was on fire....:lol:

Those Caddys are no slouch either, and they weigh 75 lbs. less than a BBC :D

Tough to tell from the pick how big the fire really is. I took a wheelbarrow full of cutoffs from my deck repair down the other day... I would guess pile at least 25 ft across and near 10 ft high.

One of the things I’ve wanted to do for some time is take a late 30s dodge coupe, convert it to a roadster and stuff a 413 Max wedge with a set of the long ram intakes hanging out over the front tires with Hilborn scoops.

One of the neighbor kids had that 413 in a T Bucket when I was a kid. Tap the throttle and hope you were pointed the way you wanted to go because the front wheels were gonna come up. :steering:

Oh, nice. I thought the car was all fixed and ready to drive. Now I see it is lacking the rear window and rear bumper at least.

Bill
It does drive, all the new parts are included. New bumpers, glass all chrome all new. Was a Kit car!!!:thumbsup: It drives real nice. The whole car was stripped to nothing and I rebuilt the complete thing. The tail lights are NOS or re chromed. Sweet.
