Yep. I meed to sneak over and pull my drivers seat out of the Swinger for a new cover. I have it unbolted but I didn't have anything to remove the seat belts. I might take the 66 out for a cruise if I have time. May be take it to whiskey tasting tonight.

I got sidetracked and thought I had better check out mu pick up. Strange rattling noise from under the hood when started cold. Any guesses?

































The serp belt was loose enough to buzz. Tensioner was seized. A trip to Oreillys for a $70 tensioner and all is good. I have been having intermittent stalling problems. The internet steered me to a bad connection at the ECM under the hood. Center connector. By golly you can make it sputter by wiggling the harness. Pull the connector apart and make sure all the wires are plugged in all the way. Spray it off to clean and plug it back in. OK so far. Now off to the Swinger.
 
Stopped to give my back a rest. threading wiring back around engine. Thats always fun. Where did this connector go??
Owner started the project and quickly abandoned it,but left a bunch of things taken apart that should have been left alone. Started pulling ecu, when it was fine where it was. Back at it. Hoping to crank it today.

One thing I can't do for very long is bend over a fender. Too old. Lol

Its the knees and front bumper. Doesent help that its on the hoist, deck is 7" above floor. Really sucks with lifted trucks.
 
Got my new clock today. I took it apart and turned the mechanism upside down so I could mount it up under the AC diffuser. I kinda like it!

Got a rebuilt starter for the fargo,no turning back now...
$290. When i priced it a couple days ago it was 320,manager gave me an extra 10% off. Guess all my good deeds for that business are paying off...

Block heater in morning,then i can button it up.
 
I got the idea for a console clock after seeing them in the ‘66 and ‘67 Chargers.

Still about 6,000 homes without power.
Was 70,000 last saturday.
The heavy wet snow took out thousands of poles and a few big towers.
 
The wife is in full Halloween decoration mode. Bar is set up and the entryway haunted house, full moon and skull snow globe (with bats that fly when you shake it instead of snow) are in place. She’s working on the kitchen and window decorations now.

She just loves to decorate for the holidays!
