Any of you guys versed on the early slants? I know the engine is a 64 but it has no noticeable date code above the casting number, thinking it is one of the 1000 day ones. Any one know?

Date code is 4 numbers, I have a chart.

Good morning...headed out early for a Dr appt then Myrtle Beach, never been there! My Atlanta friends just picked up a new travel trailer there for their retirement. Happy for them and a little envious I won't lie. It is two hours from here so a nice drive. Will stay for dinner. Fury hasn't got the new water pump in it yet, probably make it just fine but I won't risk it.

Man I am unlucky and lucky at the same time. Started getting a real bad vibration about halfway to work. Pulled over to find 4 out of 5 lug studs completely broken off and missing. This all at 65 mph. Could have been very very bad. So now I wait for a tow

Saw those before I left work this am on facebook. Dude wants an arm and a leg for them, pre-order was over 700, retail is going to be over 900 from what the dude is advertising. At that price, I'd just get an aftermarket FI intake for an LS7, put the spacer plates on and bolt it to the poly. I'd be in it for less money.

!966 225 in the book. I see the casting date is 5/15/64. They used that casting for many years. Ya those springs are goofy.
