Stop in for a cup of coffee

Outside work ?

Bill
No just some running around. I need to get the snow blower out of the storage garage and back to my place. Check the oil, change if needed, run it and order some parts. Time to make a run to the grocery store as well.

Chilly start here. Got down to around 20 just before sunrise. Bright sun bringing it up quick, but high won't be much above freezing.
Good Morning

And now I know why I don't live there......
Had the wood stove burning good and packed before I went to bed. Gotta head up to an appointment in a few, so didn’t get it going again yet this morning. Hopefully the wife gets at it...

And morning all.

That might explain the pile of small gray feathers in the back last week!

I have a sugar question, and a money question.

Don't you Americans have sugar cubes, like for putting in the coffee ? I have looked in the stores, no such things. Gosh, I hope this is not a political laden question.

I have wondered for a long time, since for example California have high wages and also very high cost, and many other states have much lower wages and cost. When I search for example Home Depot which is nationwide, or Napaonline, or O'Reilly's, will it come up a different prices for me than if I had been located in a different state when searching. I mean, does their web sites pick up the IP address and adjust the prices accordingly, or are the prices for for example Home Depot the same no matter where in the country ?

You can get Sugar cubes at any grocery store here in Florida.

A little more work done on Fargo this morning. Cobbled in an automatic choke, seems to work fine. air cleaner almost done, covers carb for now.
wired alternator/regulator but its overcharging. Two different regs same thing. Grounds are good and wiring is very short, no ammeter or bulkhead connector.
So im going to have to figure out what im doing wrong. 17-18 volts.

What is a fire sale anyway?

Usually around here by me, it means all has to go....with prices that reflect having to get rid of something. I assume he means he doesn't have to sell and the prices will reflect that (high or market value at best).

We can get sugar cubes here at any store. I prefer Raw Sugar for my coffee. Can buy in 2lb bulk box or in packets. Packets you get less for more money though...

I'm still trying to figure out how sugar cube sales might be political....

I don't think I bought any cubes since I was in grade school and needed to build an igloo for a school project. LOL. I know my dad sometimes had them in the cabinet in recent years. So, I guess they are a still available. I normally don't put any sugar in my coffee. And on the infrequent occasions that I have tea, I prefer honey.

I'm guessing the price question varies by retailer. I know some are different from online price when you go buy it in the store. And that can be higher or lower. Makes it tough to compare prices. I would be very surprised if any were 100% same across the country.

My reason for asking the price question was that I figured out that if online prices from these large companies where the same all over the country it would be expensive in the states with lower wages, while here in California it would be cheaper since people earn more money here.
The high sales tax here in California will of course make things more expensive, if I buy something for $10 here it will be a total of over $10.90, and $10.55 in the opposite corner of country which is Maine.
But that is too little to explain the difference in cost here compared to many other states.

And Im not sure anyone completely understands new online tax rules

Ign power to reg and alternator. very similar to the welded splice.
Squareback mid 70’s alternator. tried the wires directly on battery circuit with same result.
i will recheck ground, but i doubt its a problem.
