Congratulations Tooljunky'
Me setting in the doctor's office right now, a part of life for me to keep an eye on my platelet count. I am happy to say things could be worse, I can still take care of myself and do a little at a time on Victoria.
60 degree day with clouds.
Everyone have a jam of a day .

Your Arkansas friend on the hill in northeast Arkansas, nothing to hide here folks

Hello all...

I called in sick today... sore throat, headache, and fever...

Plus I didn't sleep good last night....

Ok, so all future computer viruses are Karl's fault. He is sending all his germs via FABO...

I wonder if a used engine compartment harness is worth messing with or if it would be worth buying a new one.

I was thinking of putting a want ad for a 71 engine harness and see if I can find a decent one

So i have a 2010 gmc sitting in shop, amp meter on negative post waiting for some sort of power draw. Nothing. .010 amps. .030 is usually the norm.
Im thinking door was left ajar or key was left in acc...
Looks like an older battery, but i can make smoke come out of my load tester,so it still has some good power.

I would use an old one as a basic start, but cut and splice new wires for the older crusty ones... Use the connectors, but replace the wire with new....

Don't forget to follow proper service manual color code when you replace the wires... I always bump the wires up one gauge when I replace/splice new ones in....

Holy hell. Just had a job interview and the hiring lady was SMOKING! My answers have probably never been more thought out in my life. Just to make sure I didn’t say anything bad...

It's Thunderbird Thursday.
Good morning.
Sunshine to the east.
Overcast to the west.
Rain unlikely but possible.
If anyone is hunting Safety gear, helmets 'n stuff, Simpson is having a "Cyber Week" kinda sale goin' on.
Good time to check the date tags on the 5-point and helmet.
Hmmm. I just drove by their factory twice today. I live about 10 minutes from them.

Good Evening All! Got some "great news" from our builder today, the estimate for the stone was way too low, they recommended the type (fake) and maker so I'm a bit pissed. 9K off is a lot to me, got to figure out options as we really like what we picked. Vent done, thx.

Long day at work today, 9 hrs of back-to-back meetings with a 90 min commute on each end. I really hate this time of year in this business.

When I left the house at 7 am, I turned on the heater in the garage at the low 600w setting hoping it would at least keep the edge off of the cold for when I got home. It was 33* overnight and only got to 41* outside today with west winds at 15-20 mph and gust to 30 mph straight on the garage door. And it’s at 36* outside now with the wind still blowing.

I was quite surprised when I walked into the garage a little bit ago after getting home and found this. I guess the new insulation tweaks are working.
