Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hoping to sell doors from the Gold Duster this morning. Had them on Marketplace. Guy said he would be here 9ish...

Next time we go we’re going to Maui. We have a good friend here who grew up on Maui. He has family there running a B&B. Will have a nice place to stay and no guessing where to go and what to see.

We enjoyed the Molokini Crater, went on the early a.m. trip and there was no wind, which is rare. Great snorkeling and just beautiful.

Uh huh....I love trying to sell stuff.
Certainly have done better with MP than CL lately. Not as many trolls, scammers, flake outs...CL is like at least 10 idiots for every good hit. Not as much on FB cause they know you can see who they are. Of course you could create a profile just to be a jerk and harass people, but thats too much effort for the average idiot. Lol

Good luck let us know how it goes. Yesterday I sold my fiberglass hood but that was on Craigslist. Best part of the transaction was hearing his plans for his Scamp.

We had Shorts planes flying out of our regional airport. Funny looking but roomy and I think easy to fly.

That gave me the urge to see if I could figure out what I flew into Lewiston Idaho in. Must have been a Dash-8. Could have been the longer Q400 version but I think it was the smaller 37 passenger version. Probably flew out on the same, but can't recall.

Made some slow progress on the lift yesterday, lots of rigging/moves as the ramp with the hyd cylinder on it is pretty heavy. I'm worried about the slope my builder put in my floor, 3 degrees I think, damn he knew I was putting a lift in the shop. Will look at shims/plates if needed.

Looking good though! Wonder if three degrees is to much. Assembly manual have specs?

I'll dig into them further. The installation manual starts with sighting the four posts from a survey tripod base, didn't have that and knew if I set that up that the two posts where the drive on end is will be lower. I think I'm going to wait until both ramps are mounted then see what adjustments get it to, then bounce that against the spec. All the manual is talking about so far is if you are going to bolt the lift to the floor they mention shimming then. I bought the caster kit and don't plan on bolting it down.

I had about the same slant on my floor. I put shims in, I think it was the way to go. It will bug you forever if you don’t.

Yo TMM, I may have to sweep down thru Iowa next week to look at some equipment. It is over by Davenport. Let me know what big city you are nearest to and I will get lost on the way there or back and sample some Shandy. Call it a QC check!
Davenport is a couple hours south. I do have one quart of Shandy left. Time for me to get busy. I have a 5 gallon kit of wheat beer.

I live in Waterloo so you might be driving right through town.
