Stop in for a cup of coffee

So the collision at the end of my road was a neighbour/customer’s wife. she had dimentia and walked out onto highway into traffic. So sad, she was a very nice lady..
ouch . So sad.

Well what a day. My buddy with the other 67 Barracuda convertible in town called. He was selling his office building, which is a remodeled 100 year old Victorian house. He said he had some Barracuda parts in the old garage. He wanted to get rid of them and was giving me first pick. I was there in an hour and he had more than a few parts. All for a 567 Barracuda:
3 header panels with grills
2 hoods
1 set of doors
1 trunk lid
2 mint Deluxe Chrome Wheel Covers
With this was an assortment of headlight bezels, two sets of tail light bezels one with the correct lens, seven blade fan, front license tag holder, etc...

My buddy John wanted the header panels and headlight bezels. I was looking for correct taillight lens and always looking for those deluxe wheel covers. He's going to try and sell the rest of the big stuff. If he can't, then I get to come back and take off, or take what I want. A great MOPAR day!!
Sent a pm.

And with that....i will pass. Sorry @Princess Valiant...

So, all my parts came in from Dr. Diff today. Going to have a 3.91 center chunk set up. A buddy is going to buy the current 3.23 center. Should wake the Demon up even more. Bring on the gallons per mile or gallons per smiles.

I have a 3.91 sure-grip in my ‘69 GTS that it came with. It is nice, but if I was making the selection from scratch, I would have picked a 3.55 or 3.73 instead for better highway performance.

If not drag racing regularly, I think the 3.55 is the perfect gear for all around performance.

I agree (with an automatic). With a 4 speed, I'd opt for 3.73/3.91...

True, but with either an auto or manual, the final gear ratio out of the tranny is still 1:1 so Highway Speed and performance will be equally affected. The 3.55 just provides a better RPM at highway speed for long hauls.

I agree 3.55 is likely the best choice overall, but the car came with 3.91 stock and it is just one step closer. Not much true freeway driving. Mostly just country highways.
