Stop in for a cup of coffee

My grandfather is tired of his spoiled *** kids fighting over who’s gonna get what whenever he passes so he’s decided he’s gonna travel and burn thru his savings, live off his pension and monthly 401k and royalties from the farm. So he wants to find a clone of his first car, a 1964 sport fury described as above. Doesn’t sound like money is gonna be much of a factor in it.
That's kinda asshole to fight over what you're going to get for inheritance from a parent who is still alive.

I'd be trying to find a way to trade everything I own material wise to have my adoptive parents forever.
Usually what happens is you end up with nothing because the relative leaves and material items are subject to decay and whither away.

I have a friend who inherited her grandma's house, only to find the house was rotted, got condemned and razed at the expense of my friend.

Yeah I agree

How many grandfathers does Chris have?

My grandfather died in 2013 of this same thing. Diagnosed in late 2011. They gave him 6 months, he made it 17. I wish I could tell you different but hug and hold him often as possible. I screwed up and didnt do this, something I'll regret for the rest of my life and I can't ever make up for it.

My grandfather closed his shop in 1996 and retired, died in 1999.

When my grandfather died 5 years ago, the coroner hadn't even arrived to pick up his body when my uncle started asking about his inheritance

And now a 4th one is alive looking for a car?

Yep, though if it’s an auto and everything else matches, probably can push that one
From what I recall, the 383 4bbl was the base engine. BUT looking at Sport fury's for sale, there a lots with 361 engines....Hmmmm Fury had a 361, sport fury 383....could be in correct...

I’ve been finding a lot of fury’s cloned into sport fury’s for sale too.

Base for the Sport Fury was a 318. Every other engine was optional for extra cost on the Sport Fury in ‘64. Sport was an equipment package NOT a performance package.

You know, I took you off ignore about a week ago, got tired of trying to fill in the blanks and thought I’d give it shot. However, I see you’re still a pompous *** and still wanting to make yourself look oh so smart and powerful, so you’re going right back on it. But not until I reply to your query, I take it you had to ask because google couldn’t help you with this one?

anyway, I have 3, Let me break it down for you, I’ll break it down Barney style.

first, my mom divorced my biological dad shorty after I was born and remarried, I would not learn of this until I was in my twenties. I know I’ve posted about that and my half siblings more than once. Go dig for those posts if you want. The one that died in 1999, was technically my step-grandfather but being as I grew up knowing my step dad as my real dad, I’ll call him my grandfather if I God damn well please.

Your other two quotes are of the same grandfather, the one on my biological dad’s side who passed in 2013. The “5 year” quote was taken from a post of mine I made in 2018. Question for you, mr. smarty pants, what’s 2018- 5 years.... times up, 2013. Hmm make sense now? Or do I need to provide legal documentation to gain your approval? Oh wait, I don’t care.

as for the one remaining living, he’s biological and the one that raised me. And yes, he’s looking for a car, he’s decided to live and spend his money as he so wishes in his final years after years of caring for my grandmother and watching her suffer thru dementia.

None of this, of course, is any of your damn business, so take your high and mighty, condescending attitude and shove it.

Had this about 8pm last night. Storm chaser buddy called it a cold weather funnel. Can’t tell it in the pic but it’s actually spinning but horizontally. He said those types are common when theres not enough windsheer and rarely touch down or even trigger tornado warnings. Kind of a cool shot if you ask me lol

Good Evening All! Well, things went a bit sideways today for me but it's alright. I too had a mice/rat poop problem, they got into my wood chips hungry little critters! So...the smoked chicken is off, instead, brined with onion, garlic, pepper, kosher salt, lemon, honey and brown sugar, then split down the middle, a rub put on it and onto the grill. Bigger problem for me was the lift. The 3 degree floor slope my builder put in (my fault, didn't know he would do that in a non plumbed shop) is giving me a little trouble with safety lock engagement/synchronization. Level shows me the problem, don't want to do permanent shims and bolt her down as I bought the caster kit so will crank on the cables some more! It's low towards the shop door and those latches are making way before the other end.

I might have got this figured out today but my wife needed some help with her project, a headboard arch. We drove to Seattle a couple of weekends ago, bought it off Craigslist or FB, now there's a plywood backer (oak veneer), 2x4's, 2x6's etc. Table saw and jigsaw was all it took, just cuts today, assembly on another weekend : )

Do the casters have any leveling ability? I’ve seen some that have adjusters built in but always wondered how well those worked

Speaking of hoses... got the front mulched and decided it was break time. Drove the Duster to HD and got a new hose and sprayer. So now my wife doesn’t have to drag the one from around back to water her flowers in front of the house.
Note- my wife, the Duster, her flowers . Lol
Free wood chips from last year is now some pretty good looking mulch.

Keep an eye out through those bushes, some killer/loser is running around your state somewhere (Pocono's they think).
