I was at Costco today and when I came out there was a 76 Olds Cutlass parked. I went over to admire the car and there was a nice young man in the driver's seat

I had a 76 Cutlass Supreme, really liked that car, unfortunately so did the rust worms, sold it when the floor got bad. Had cloth buckets, console, floor shift, power windows and locks, a/c, tilt and cruise control. Well equipped car for the day.

Fred would like to share a reason for a mask.

MARK MARK MARK did it.Bad Mark. LOL. I was waiting for the smack down.

No I don't like the look of the rear when tinted. The Glass I have still looks really nice for its age and has a lot of the factory green tint to it..
I'm gonna clean it up an polish both and see how they turn out.
We always used jeweler's rouge to get scratches out of glass. Works really good. Don't know where you'd buy it maybe a jewelry store could help

They sure made them thick back then. I know what you mean by the green.
They were usually about 1/4" thick but seeing the size of the glass it might be more. I never had the pleasure of replacing one of those but a 2 man job to lay it in place then it's all yours lol. The good news is that the new rubber will be soft and pliable. Use some liquid soap on it when installing. Make it so much simpler. Do you have the tool to install the lock strip? You can make one. If you want an example of mine I can post it.

He hasn't got anything yet, but he has been bit by the bug. No pun intended~
He wants an older 64-67 bug no fender and a 2-4" front end stretch. I've done everything i can to sway him but he's sticking to his guns this is what he wants!
I told him okay but he has to build it motor and all... I also told him if we build a 1600cc or 1800cc I'll build a turbo setup for him...
