I like the Idea of a van back end for a camper but need something light and low.
Was thinking of making one but a old pop up is cheaper at around 2 grand or less.
i saw a livestock trailer on my local Craigslist for 2 K
That would be a perfect canvas for making a travel trailer

Ok guys been to about 5 car shows this summer and thinking that all the money I put in my car to show it off has been for self gratification. Did I say that right???
Like making me feel good is what I'm trying to say.
Never thought about it as making me look good or be better than someone else just trying to make me feel better about myself.
Not working real good thinking just sell my car and and go rock hunting.

I wouldnt sell it. You built the car for you to enjoy and not to satisfy others. Continue to enjoy the smiles per miles.

Picked this up for free today. I wanted it for the trans to convert my sons truck from column shift to floor shift.

Enjoy your car, you built it for you, to hell with all of the people who don't respect or recognize the time and effort you have put in to get it to the point its at.
I found that most people don't have any use for A bodies, they're not the big draw that B and E bodies are, so I stopped giving a damn what anyone else thinks. Same thing happened in my experience with Fox body Mustangs, everyone was always interested in the 65 to 73 cars, Fox bodies were treated like the idiot cousins. Whatever.
Just my .02.

I'm really getting burned out on cars but it's all I know and keep gravitating back to them. I think I would like a modern "hot rod" I kind of know how you feel Fred.

I picked up a 2004 Grand Marquis 2 weeks ago, no rust, 120k miles, new brakes, tires, axle seals, runs excellent, paid $1900.00 cad. The thought has occurred to me that I could put an E-force supercharger on it, sell all my old stuff and have a daily driver that's also a sleeper. I am getting tired of spending so much time on my projects.

gotta tell you Fred, find yourself a nice curvy road, and see of 30 minutes behind the wheel doesnt do more for you then 4 hours at a car show

Not a problem with people liking my car they all do and love it and keep coming back to complement me on my work. It's me that has the problem of getting a big head and barging about it that bothers me.
