A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

I think I'm going to paint my 65 Valiant Wagon in the same color as this '70 Satellite. I like this green. I will have the seats upholstered in brown. It comes across as a forest then :) .
Can anyone tell me this color code? Am I right here with F4 Lime green?

Here's my on going project. 1963 Dodge Dart 270 Wagon. Slant six rebuilt, comp cam, aussie hurricane 4 barrel intake, edelbrock 500CFM, Dutra duals, rebuilt trans with shift kit and converter, 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 (not sure grip), floors replaced...still need to install all the bits, and do the exhaust but its getting there. Going to add front docs brakes. Need to either redo the front bench seat or find some bucket seats for it...not sure what to do there yet. I'm looking for misc parts if anyone has any in Canada. Thanks

Here's my '65 on a nice fall day a few weeks ago. I swapped a '74 225 from a Charger of all things for the worn out 170, and it has a 3-speed on the column (A-903) and 3.23 gears. I bought it from Wildcat in Oregon and had it shipped home about this time in 2013; I've been using it on dry days between November and April. It's crusty enough not to worry too much about it, which makes it the most fun!

I've rebuilt the front suspension and the heater, and I got the gauges all working with some help from RedFish on here. ProRac1 sold me a used 7.25 to replace the howling original. I've done the slip joint conversion on the driveshaft. It's a neat old car.

So if it's wagon Wednesday I will post here again. I took my wagon to 2 shows this fall. One best modified A body and 1 3rd place best in show. Not bad for a wagon most people don't remember or have never seen!

My 66 Valiant wagon has a decent tailgate, and I bought a replacement rear lower valance, but I need lower quarter panels for the rear. Are 64 65 Barracuda the same?

Nope! Wagons have the full radius wheelwells- Barracuda and Valiants are sort of teardrop shaped. I could use a pair myself!

The lower quarters on the wagoN are several inches longer than the lower quarters on the Valiant/Barracuda. The shape where they toll under is the same however. With the help of my bodyman friend, we were were able to adapt a set of Layson’s reproduction Valiant/Barracuda lower quarter repair panels onto My 65 Dart wagon.

Is that a splitting maul you have tied th your trunk latch

Nope - that’s the licence plate lamp Hanging down by the wire. Now removed, back side lightly blasted, primed and painted and awaiting the NOS lens to get installed and then installed after the body gets painted - which will be soon!
