Stop in for a cup of coffee

I agree. I never even liked shaking hands, took a long time before i could bring myself to do it. I rarely shook anyones hand before i was 40. Just not the touchy type.
Where i was born and raised, women hug women and men actually hug men but never man/ woman hugging in public.

There is no reason for a male to even get near me so I'm not really that keen on shaking hands with men.

Oh there’s plenty of reasons. But that said, none are appropriate reasons lol

Check with your local health department, they are offering free ones to recovered Covid patients for study.

I was never diagnosed, but after hearing many people's symptoms with covid, I had many of those back last Feb - April.... That's when testing was limited because of lack of test kits....

My mom and dad says the same thing. They were in San Diego in early Jan, got the flu real bad about a week after they got back but that was way before testing

They could have come over.....lunch or something....

Lower back pain that was not there before....persistent....
Well, you’re not supposed to be deadlifting that compressor by yourself there super star!!!

kidding kidding,

like I said, I have no doubt it’s real. The part I get turn over is the official narrative of the initial start of this being a bat. And the other part I’m turn over is lockdowns and the constitutionality of them. I think they’re unconstitutional and should be left up to the individual and companies they work for.

Lol I didn’t even know they were going until they called me to ask if I’d go get their car from the airport so they wouldn’t have a big parking bill.

I do have to ask this though.

If lockdowns work as they say they do, then why a mask mandate?

if Masks work, then why a lock down?

If both work, then why is this spreading still?

The first lockdown seemed to work. The numbers weren't rising very fast. Everybody loosened up and started playing, meeting, parting, demonstrating, going to political events and the numbers started to rise, then took off like a flash.

Well, keep in mind, they were only testing people on a limited basis back then. Mass testing really didn’t start until mid to late summer, at least here. Prior to that, they would only test you if you went to the ER and had breathing trouble combined with a fever.

I've had lower back pain on and off since 1988 when a drunk 19 year old decided to total an Escort on the back of one of my Barracuda fastbacks doing over 90 MPH.... I had my seat belt on and walked away with a severe case of whiplash in my neck and lower back.... The passenger of the Escort told the cop that the driver had at least 8 beers at the party that they were coming from....

One reason that I don't have any sympathy for people that get caught driving drunk...

So me having lower back pain is not abnormal...

It's out of control again and the reins need to be pulled back. Until the vaccine's get distributed.

Which according to our local Health department is likely to be this time next year if we’re lucky.

When I was dating my wife before we got married, I was home in Chicago during a break from school in Detroit... She decided on a whim to surprise me and come out to see me and drove to the airport, parked in SHORT TERM PARKING, then got on a plane to see me for a weekend (without even telling me)... She called me from the airport here after she landed to come pick her up.... :steering:

So after that weekend we had to go 'rescue' her car from short term parking (it was now 4 -5 days)... :BangHead:

We had her sister drive us to the airport and pulled into the short term parking lot, got a ticket, backed up, got another ticket and then parked in short term parking and went into the airport and played games in the arcade for 30 - 45 minutes... Then we had one ticket for each car for only one hour when we left and avoided the steep parking fees for parking there for the weekend.... It worked... :D

It was good to stick it to the man.... :icon_fU:

I think it will be sooner than that. Health care and emergency services gets it first then down the line. I will probably get it before you do because of my age and medical history. My 94 year old mom will get it before me.

They say that the vaccine may start being distributed in December in limited numbers... Most people won't be able to get it until spring while they cover the first responders and high risk people first... Then they will start distributing to rest of us....

so I went to the CDC website. According to their data on April 21st, 2020, they administered 701,000 Covid tests nation wide during that WEEK. Or roughly 100,000 per day nationwide

Fast forward to the latest date from October 31st, they were averaging a daily test administration level at 653,000 per DAY over the course of the entire month.

mean while, the daily positive result rate fluctuated between 10.9 and 15.4 during the month of October, in April, the positive rate ranged between 9.8 and 16.2 daily.

seems pretty similar. The difference is, 15.4 percent of 653,000 per day is 100,000 and change. Where as 16.2 percent of 100,000 per day back in April is 16,200. So yeah, the number of cases are way up, but we’re also testing more. So it’s not a straight apples to apples comparison and really inconclusive as to where the first lock down worked or had any effect one way or the other.

CDC.gov/covid is where I got my data.

My wife’s doctors office gets a weekly, Wednesday update via teleconference. She took yesterday off but still remoted in and I got to listen. Really an eye opener. What the health department said is guidance from the CDC is that IF a vaccine is approved for mass distribution by the end of the year, they will star distributing it to healthcare workers and the military first, expecting that start to be early April, then it’ll go to most in need, current patients in ICU, nursing homes etc. they expect that to start in mid to late June, then it’ll take a few months to get those all done, with a mass public availability some time around Halloween next year.

again, that’s just going off what the local health department is telling those who work in healthcare. Who knows what the actual timing will be.

It's like a sliding scale. A percentage of positives. You test more, the positives go up. It gets worse and the percentage of positives goes up.

Only reason I got tested was that it was time for my bi-annual physical with my GP. I had to call them after no results after 2 weeks :realcrazy:
