Nope never had. I know a lot of people winter there. He rents a condo for 4500 a month. They've been going for years, and says its cheaper to rent than buy in California. I think I could find a nice place a little cheaper than 4500. Cheryl says we're going to go somewhere the winter she retires...whenever that happens.

Well this morning its colder.
It will likely pop -40 soon.
 
Palm Spring what I saw of it is really dry. We used to go there as a FOB when fighting fires with the H-60's. Seriously no idea why the area is so expensive.

I heard in the 30's it was a sleepy little town until the Hollywood people discovered it.
 
I think the wife has that one on Vynal. I really need to go through them and convert them to digital format we have a turn table I bought a few years ago and just never did it yet. Dam never enough time and no way she can do it. Any thing electronic and digital forget it!

My nephew lives there. He works for prime focus,does computer imaging/special effects. Worked on avatar,swordfish and a few more i cant remember. Developed technology to convert 2D movies into 3D.

15 or so years ago i spent the dead days of winter doing that. Went as far as taking pictures of album covers. It was really time consuming. Then my computer crashed. I was sad. That was back in the limewire days,had lots of music. Now i have more than that in my phone,and its on the cloud...

Or a raft! Wonder if you can still get a ride on commercial boats? I know in the 80's you could had a friend that went all over doing that.

Good Morning All, evening Mitch. Cold and snowing, but a short day, then have to drive up to Green Bay for the cortisone shot. PT said if it was her, she would try it even if it just settles some of the pain down. OK
 
Well we finally made it onto Google Maps, the address the county gave us doesn't seem right and the map agrees. We live at 1566 Deer Ridge but you have to put in 1572 to have the marker land on our property, hilarious! UPS has mentioned our address too, sure glad we paid the county for that number!

I thought you could submit corrections to google maps.
 
Today is a couple oil changes. One is for a friend that drives older people to dr appointments, i never charge labour as one good turn deserves another.

that being said,no good deed goes unpunished. Shop will pretty much freeze solid when i open door.
