Stop in for a cup of coffee

That might have been the low here last night. S'posed to see 72 today.
We will still see some 30's over the next week or so. A month ago, I really thought we would see one more big snow. Not impossible, but highly unlikely at this point. We did have a light snow last week. May 15 has always been considered the 'frost free' safe day for planting here. Anyway it's beautiful outside right now - back to cleaning up the flower beds...

We just got a nice shower. I need to get the rain gauge out for the season. Here's a frog strangler rain we had last summer!

Got my trailer axle tuned up. put Fargo on hoist, raised hoist and backed trailer under it. Set hoist down just onto trailer and slid a jack under centre of axle tube.
gave er a few pumps and axle is now acrched upwards in the middle. Put new tires on and now im good to go. Road test next.

Trailer pulls normal. Had some bug chunks of steel to donate to the local machinist,2” round bar and 6 feet of 2-1/4” square bar. I spent an hour cutting off a chunk of the square stuff. Think i killed the blade in my cold saw. Theres $100 down the tube. Dont care, if it doesent cut, then i will order a new blade. It cuts 10x what a bandsaw does in less time.

Morning Partiers!
Morning
We what a fun day.
First, my lawnmower shot craps/ I spent three hours push mowing most of the yard.
Two weeks before the shop can get to it.
Then I get the "food in the frig isn't very cold". Check it and the compressor is shot...double whammie.
I said F**k it last night, and had a couple "cold" beers.
Weekly we go to our neighborhood sports bar's local Taco Tuesday, with buddies and their spouses.
did Chris move in with ya?

That sucks, what's the mower not doing, mowing lol?

I hate those days!

Just don't let him touch his *****... :wtf:

Well I made it back to Fargo. Ten hours in rain at 80 plus miles per hour. Got run clear off road twice by semis. Holy smokes! Super high wind and crappy weather. But the night at TMMs in Waterloo tasting whiskeys was priceless. Was his place on the travel route? Oh heck no, was the travel deviation and four hours out of the way worth it? Oh heck ya! I have said it over and over on here but life is short, take the time out of your busy schedule and visit your FABO brothers. It is always worth it. We had a total blast. Deviant behavior and debauchery reigned supreme! Plus we tasted some great whiskey! And much like Chris I came home to a new addition to the family! Pictured below! Pure sex right there I am telling ya.

My daughter is seriously afraid of mice. One day in the shop a mouse ran across the floor and she jumped up like a super hero onto top of one of the 6' cabinets screaming. Funny as hell that's her cryptonite!

When we were younger, we were walking around the block with this girl and a mouse ran across the sidewalk and she screamed... So I stamped it dead... Then she got mad at me or killing it... :wtf:

We've started to hear the frogs in the lake again. Wife likes to sleep with the windows open (and the heat on) to hear them. For me I'm thinking about late April/May when the bass will be more active, going to throw frog lures/plastic worms at them and see what I can catch.

I hear crickets near the ponds here already...

I caught a big *** frog once while bass fishing as a kid. Was throwing a Rapala towards the edge of the lily pads and he jumped over and gulped it up, dual treble hooks but I got him unhooked and released him.

You should enter a bass tournament...

At the cottage when we were kids, used to catch frogs. By the pail full. End of dock was a sink with a cover on it for cleaning fish. My brother and i filled it with frogs. Dad fillets a fish and lifts cover to rinse it in the lake, and 100 frogs start jumping in every direction. Was priceless.

In high school we went with our friends on vacation to northern Wisconsin for fishing and water skiing... One night we are in our cabin and the mothers see a frog jumping across the living room and asked where the frog came from...

Their little 5 year old cousin, Francis, then checks his pockets and says, "My frog is missing".... :BangHead:

A few weeks back, customer said he could buy the same belt online for 3 bucks.
Well,the gates belt was $28.
Boss flipped on him, said guve belt back and heres your 28 dollars back. Customer kept belt.

same customer comes back, admits they arent the same belt. Guess he ordered a couple 3 dollar ones, and didnt last 10 minutes. And admitted the quality was not as good as the gates belt.

Well yeah, that's why you buy quality parts... :realcrazy:

The wheel of life old and new, spalted maple from Texas. They both have their place in my heart and hand! I compete with both pistols in different disciplines.

So with the laws here, a lot of firearms have been turned in.
and the police watch as each and every one is chopped up. My machinist buddy had barrels full of chopped up guns. Sad.
I was browsing through the pile, may grab some pieces to build a shifter for my buddys pickup.
