Plus as you know the faster you spin a Diesel the easier she starts.
I could learn some lessons from you CF on diesel engines and have a VW Jetta in my garage that has been sitting for about 4 years and will run for about 5 minutes than shut down and have to crank and crank to get it started again. Thinking the in tank fuel pump is bad but not sure.

Filters is the 1st thing Diesels dont like to work to get fuel.

New filter but after posting about it I ran out the the garage and replaced the blown out fuse for the in tank pump and it started right up.
I never checked it before. :BangHead:

Looks like a greasy hamburger smothered in chili night. with a few home made fries. Wish me luck guys this could get bad. lol

Ok I checked Napa website and they have the #4 6 volt battery that is factory x`s 2 of what is in my small diesel. They are at 118 each. Would you guys go with a single 12 volt or replace both 6 volts like it is now?
More cranking amps in 2-6v

Happy weekend guys hope you enjoy some time off work.
And you have my permission to sleep in and screw off tomorrow.

Morning fellas. Friends of mine up North have been reporting snow, sleet, rain, hail and very strong winds over night. We may have had rain but now the roads are dry and the wind has died down. Trees came down and knocked out the power in some places. We were ok. I looked outside yesterday and saw the deck chairs sliding across the deck. 0 degrees right now and another mixed bag of sun and rain today.
Happy May 1st BTW.

Morning men. Woke up to 8c this morning and heading to a nice 17c and sunny. I was out yesterday in the 300 and was looking for signs of brine on the road. Didn't see any so may take the Cuda out today and stretch it's legs
Have a wonderful day.
Mark gotta question for ya. Who ya saving the car for? My father in law asked me that when my wife and I bought a new sundance w were leaving the plastic on the seats to protect them and swearing because we’re sweating and sticking. Thought about this the other day. With the amount of time I have left this car will never rot out. So I think I will enjoy my car and leave the fixing to someone else. Just a thought

Funny but my wife and I were just talking about that the other day. I know my son would want it after I'm gone but to be honest he won't get it. He'd ruin it. If you see the way he drives you'd understand. He has two speeds, stopped and to the rug or in passing gear. He also takes a lot of sideroads not necessarily dirt roads but loose gravel. I have two guys that I let work on my car, both are mechanics and both are very fussy when they work on something. If I can't do it myself then it goes to them. Maybe 10 years from now I'll sell it if I'm still around (I'll be 82) I'd like to buy a Hemi Challenger or should I say an electric Challenger lol. Should always have a plan I guess.

Morning guys the thought of leaving my car to one of my kids is a hard one for me having 6 boys and 2 girls. I have 2 boys that would take good care of it and the rest would destroy it I think.
