Well I'm finally up. Big storms rolled through twice overnight 70 mph winds, rain, hail, a real treat. Looking outside no major damage here, but there are trees down in the neighborhood. I'll have to gas up the chain saw later, and see if anyone needs help. Spring storms hate them, especially at night.

Is this your new place? I don’t back read too far, didn’t know if you have sold the old place

Went to the local cruise night last night. My good Mopar friend Jim, brought his new creation a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger. I’ve know Jim for more than 40 years. We worked together at the police department same shift for years in the same zone. He is one of the smartest MOPAR guys I know. He’s fit right in here. Originally from New Jersey (still has the twang) he came here with the Air Force and stayed after marrying a local girl.
He got this car a few years ago and it was a shell no engine, transmission, interior, etc. He did all the work himself. The first time he found a 360 engine rebuilt it with a transmission, ordered the interior and put it in, all the wiring, and painted the car. It took him four years. He drove and showed it for a year.
Last year he got the wild hair to put a hemi in it. He got a 5.7 out of a 2006 Charger. He did all the fab and wiring and shoe horned it in as he commonly tells the lookers. He crafted a new dash also. It turned out really nice.

No this is the old place. We close on the new one mid June, but won't move in until August after the remodel work is done.

Good morning everyone. I hope all is well. Seems there are at least a couple really good mornings out there. Found a wiper switch, so that should be one more piece and hopefully work once I get it.

And theres a bustle in the hedgerow...
Last night, was kind of eerie..

Look at the size of these hybrid Shrimp or Prawns. The octopus, I will not eat, although I did try it, last year.

You can tell your buddy I am a fan! That is a beautiful build and lord knows I understand the shoe horn thing. I hope when mine is done it looks half that good! Pure D sex right there for sure.

I'll stick with an OMR BK... getting ready to head there soon, well not IHOP but something close.

He was explaining the fuel thing he has. On the dash pic you see the screen under the dash. What he has works like a champ all he does is start and go. I can connect you with him if you want to hear his mechanical version. He had 1/2" clearance on either side when he set the engine in. No lift either, did all the work on a set of two foot ramps.
