Found two pictures of the car I was talking about. Same car?

Nice and smooth on the way there and not bad on the way back had a few but flew above the clouds helped.

Its the 47 Plymouth that we cut the trunk floor out of for my sons 41 Dodge.

Never have but yea I bet it would be a nightmare to rebuild or figure out. Would like to see one torn down.

They have two throws on crank two main connecting rods and 6 rods on each to the pistons. When I first saw this my jaw must have been on the floor. Amazing

Iv'e seen pictures and your right amazing. Not sure when they were first made but the plane at the show was a 1928 is what I was told.
