Stop in for a cup of coffee

Driving on I-5 a few weeks ago had debris fly up from car in left lane, couldn't get out of the way and had to take it on the chin. Got a 1/2 inch tall by 2 inch wide paint scrape/gouge but no dent. Wife takes it into body shop for quote, $900, they said they would have to remove the front bumper? Time for another quote or more likely a bottle of touch up paint!

Repaint half the car was at one time an option. :realcrazy:

I wasn't there for the quote but something like "it is required to remove the bumper to do the filling"....doesn't make sense to me. What DOES make sense is something I've heard from the body guy who did my sons Firebird...."I don't want to do anything for under $1000".

I would like one my shop appearing neat and clean, like the perfect mancave!

So yes gear vendor does have different lengths speed cable extensions. 16 and 14 inch. 45.00 more dollars. Can't I just give you the unused long one? Nope. I guess what's 45 dollars after ponying up what the thing cost in the beginning...

well they can't take back unused parts just in case something happened to it in shipping or what have you. (If I understood the rant correctly.)
