Haven't tried the Vodka yet but the Whiskey is pretty good and smooth.
Just like my grand kids would do. lol
Vodka is good for the price it is smooth and enjoyable. I'd buy another bottle but just what I like.
I need to make a batch of beer real soon but after tasting Toolmans beer I would much rather drink his than mine.

I bought a vintage Gulf service garage today!
1/64 scale to go with my vintage train. First I did a quick tune up on my GTS and then took the shop truck over to the rail yard on my way home....LOL!
What are the odds I could find a 1/64 scale vintage Gulf service station building to go with the train plus a vintage 1959 F250 tow truck with Dave’s Garage written on the side? I just had to buy it!
Now time for some cold beer and grill some steaks out on the deck. Cheers!

Karma Dave Karma! Super cool find. I have not seen any further detail but has your eyesight recovered at all. For someone with your skillset and art, eyesight is paramount. Hope it is improving.

Unfortunately, my left eye is still fubar and will likely never recover. The top half of my vision in that eye is like looking through a cloudy ice cube with images warped and distorted and only half visible. It has wrecked my depth of field view and gives me constant eye strain headaches trying to focus in 3D.
The docs say maybe a cornea transplant could correct it, but I’m not sure I want to take a chance on a maybe. Half vision in that eye is better than none in my mind.
I have been dealing with it as best I can and will continue to persevere. Everything I do vision wise takes a lot more effort, but I accept the challenges life faces me with...and will engage them with resolve and make my best effort to overcome them.
A bottle I picked up in Nashville last week. It is a local distillery (Pennington Distilling) and this bottle was a barrel pick. 127.76 proof that drinks like a 80 proofer. Lots of dark fruit flavors on the nose and palate with a smooth fruity finish. I would rate this in the top 5 of my 100 bottle collection!

Wow! That is quite the endorsement coming from you. As I have meandered thru your collection and there is a whole lot of tasty bottles there. It is for sure now on my pick list.
It is pretty crazy stuff. My Glen Carin is empty but I can still smell the dark fruits. Damn, I need to make a trip to Nashville for another bottle. LOL

I am reading your post which of course led me down the worm hole of trying to pick a top five in mine. Epic fail, in my classic let’s over think this, I started in with, well tequila is separate so I can’t count that. I like vodka but is it really a whiskey? Holy crap I am a mess! No way can I get it down to five! Hah! Then of course I thought 100 bottles, holy smokes that is a lot. But then I remember peeking into your cabinet and thinking to myself there has got to be a couple hundred bottles in here! You have a great collection no doubt. Some day I may get energized and create a list of mine! Don’t hold your breath!
I am glad I inventoried the collection. It prevents buying extra bottles when you forgot you have on or two. LOL
