Stop in for a drink.

Good evening folks, just dropped by to say hello again.

I have been extremely busy with the new Companies and all the stuff that goes with getting them moving. Things have been progressing so fast that we needed some infrastructure to make operations more productive. Therefore, it was time to establish the new Corporate HQ home office for the team to work from. We are mostly virtual, but we need to get together a few days a week and be productive.

So, it was time to carve out the new office space here in my house which is centrally located for everyone on the team.

This is what I started with last week, a good 14’ x 18’ space in the front room of my house...

The office comes with amenities too! Full kitchen (mine), a full workout gym in the basement plus a 1 mile walking path loop around the neighborhood. And of course, a deck with a BBQ grill and a fridge fully stocked with cold beer for relaxing at the end of the day.

Who could ask for more? LOL!

Cheers!

**** David I have a garage with a small fridge full of beer but nothing like you have.
I do have something you don't and you need to get. LOL

Hey Dave. Thanks for the tour.

"Good Bourbon is Like Good Friends, both hard to find!"

I just got contacted by a local liquor store owner about a Elijah Craig Barrel Pick. He got the samples in and I hope he let's us help pick.
It's a deal. Ted (a whiskey tasting buddy) and I are driving south about an hour to do some single barrel tasting. Hopefully I can get my Facebook Group name on the pick. This is going to be fun. Bringing Glen Carin's, water dropper to dilute, and to cleanse the palate. The barrel strength is around 130+ proof.

You rock. What an honor and quite frankly a bit of responsibility. Not that I am adding pressure or anything. Hah. Tell Ted I said hello.

We did it. Our Barrel pick will get bottled and have my Facebook group name on it. Waterloo Spirit Chasers. I can presell bottles. It usually takes a couple months to get them.

Are we allocated? If not I am down for several bottles! Just super cool TMM! Well done! Not many folks get to pull that off. At least one bottle has to go in a framed box to be passed down to following generations!
LOL It will go through the state here. The Spirit Chasers group get's first dibs. I will presell as many as I can before the store owner put's it on the shelf for the public. I can sure put you down for some.

Super happy Scotch day everybody. Neighbor met me at the fence gate with some tasty stuff.

Hi folks, just stopping by to say hello again.

Another busy week with the new Companies, but I took some time to add something fun to the home office.

It’s my 1953 American Flyer Mountaineer train set that I inherited from an old friend who passed about 10 years ago. It is in mint condition (I even have the original boxes) and it is just about 5’ long and sits on the 66” display track I bought for it. It is “S” gauge (1/64 scale).

It’s a nice addition on the bookshelves behind my desk separating the work area from the rest of the room. I enjoy looking at it while at my desk.

Just thought I would share...Cheers!

Tonic is nasty. I did consume it for about 3 months at the beginning of the pandemic for the Quinine. Then I decided I would take the chance of getting sick and let my taste buds have a rest

A panoramic shot is kind of fun.

With my apologies to Jim Morrison

Well, show me the way
To the Toolmans whisky bar
Oh, don't ask why
Oh, don't ask why
Show me the way
To the Toolmans whisky bar
Oh, don't ask why
Oh, don't ask why
For if we don't find
Toolmans whisky bar
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
I tell you, I tell you
I tell you we must die
Oh, moon of Alabama
We now must say goodbye
We've lost our good old mama
And must have Toolman whiskey, oh, you know why....
