Stop in for a cup of coffee

That fueled my engine fire I had actually melted a venturi on a afb. That one was scary doing 90 in the pop and black smoke pouring out. Stared by a wire rubbing on the throttle cable.
Yeah, might not start the fire, but kinda like storing a box of kindling on top of the woodstove. :realcrazy:

That was bad. Check your bulkhead connectors and make sure they are not rubbing on the cable, seen it posted a few times on threads. I got lucky I carry a fire extinguisher, just did it. Recommend a CO2 on though the chemical seriously corrodes aluminum.

3k in distributors, I paid up for the dp ones. all HP, six pack RB

So I just got back from our local race shop/dyno tuner gurus. I was finalizing some details for Demons appt on dyno. Turns out they will no longer tune Fords or Mopar. Their business is so strong they are doing Holley platform and LS swaps only, plus Imports. They are tired of fighting the continuing OEM evolution of proprietary software from Mopar and Ford. For our area, Holley dominates the EFI platform scene and they are backing it up with RnD dollars. These guys own our local drag strip and drift track. They are on cutting edge of dyno tuning and have been for years. I was certainly surprised but understand the business aspect. Mother Mopar makes it hard on us no question.

Those bowtied bastards! :mob:

Been pretty hot and humid out, so no shed work the last couple days. I did get a few things done on/in the house. Replaced the basement window I broke with the mower a year ago, patched the concrete around my well pipes and did a drywall patch in the living room that was 5years. overdue...

Evening. Got my second jab 4 hours ago, was doing okay until the last hour or so, my head feels like it’s in a vice and my left arm throbbing. Other than that, I’m managing ok
