Stop in for a cup of coffee

Geez this thread is hard to keep up with.

I leave and 20 million pages go by....

I'm not back reading today, but how's everyone?
Hope you all are comfortable, hopefully no one is surfing fabo from under a bridge or anywhere stinky and uncomfortable...:p
You may have just described my recliner…

Had to take a break and go see the MIL this morning. We're great friends and I enjoy talking to her.
Came home and took a couple loads of smalls to the house.
I think a load or two tomorrow, the basement will be done, and that will be a huge accomplishment!!
I will be SO glad when I can tell you we are moved!!

The fabo crash of 21 took out my 2bbl. Vs. 4 bbl. Thread just when it was getting interesting.

I think I'm going to settle on the 2 bbl on the slant after agonizing over it for over a week.

I have a few pages of pros and cons for either one

My MIL lives with us. 86 and in great health.....She is sweet, mostly....

So here is my “comfortably numb” story. The year was 1980 as a Marine it was not a good year. We had been lounging in a cave waiting to pounce for just over thirty days eating the same cans of spam all three meals every single day and night for the entire time we stayed. The cans were all marked with Mfg. Dates from the 1950s for the Korean War. Long story short when we left the desert to come back to US soil we made a little detour and stopped in Europe. We had been in isolation for months, no contact with outside world no music no food. My wife sent me a letter during that time and they returned it to her address unknown! Hah! That should have been a clue, anyway. They decided to give us liberty, our unit had to maintain 50% mission ready at all times so we drew straws to see who got first liberty rotation. I was fortunate enough to go, we decided to go see a movie and drink beer. None of us could read write or speak the native language. We did not care, so we show up at movie theater and manage to get in. While waiting for movie the theater pipes in music, yep Pink Floyd! Keep in mind none of us has heard anything but radio (military) chatter for months. We bust out air guitars and drums stand up and we are an instant air band! That broke the ice for the whole theater! Next thing you know we got adopted by some locals and partied all night. But that is another story. Funny how music evokes memories both good and bad.

The moon is cool tonight. Hard to hand hold your cell phone! A few thousandth of an inch here is miles up there.

Love that story. I play a mean air harmonica for your air band. Keyboards, he'll, even xylophone. Thanks for your years of sacrifice.

Moon supposed to be full about 7:54 EST on the 20th. September Harvest Moon. Should be pretty.

Just waiting on the sun to appear, so I can finish the driveway project.
Looks like good weather for it.
Sat on my *** driving all day yesterday, but well worth it.
Be on my knees today, pounding bricks.
Oh boy, I hope HOPPY and Karl don't read that last line.
Morning all have a great day.
