Stop in for a cup of coffee

Construction chaos is never on schedule...keep the faith and you'll get it done.
It's tougher for you working. I'm retired, today will be day 96 in a row.
My project list continues to dwindle it's been an adventure.
I'm ready to go back to retired status and "play cars" as the wife calls it. :D
96 days? Thats all ?
seriously, you got a lot done in that time. Soon you will reap the rewards of the new digs..

Made it to shop. Still a mess. Night shift is slacking off.
I want this week to be over. Next week can f right off too!

Good Morning Everyone. I had some excitement last night. About 2am, I heard a loud noise. Woke up, checked everything out, nothing to be seen anywhere. So, I went back to bed, saw police lights coming my way moments later, they stopped close. Looking closer, I see they are at a house 2 houses to the north. In all, 5 squad cars, 7 first responders, heavy rescue, ambulance, and some other big truck show up. Apparently someone left the road, jumped/rolled through the ditch and hit the house/deck. There is the bang/noise I heard. Crazy! The guy was ok.

I assume so. It is 55mph just about a block from there. Assuming fell asleep. Cops took him in the car, no cuffs, no urgency.

This back to work stuff is too much work. LOL Actually first night back was OK, but I need to slow the pace on the home repairs in the morning. My energy level was running low by 11PM. Maybe get back to cleaning up the boards around the shed this morning before I do any more windows. I don't think the neighbors hornets are gone yet anyway. Nest is still there... Still need to paint the new shed siding too. No rush on that though, other than get it done before it's too cold.

Oops!

Did pan swap. Got distracted and didnt check for leaks. Either i poured some on floor or his dipstick tube leaks. No way the pan could leak that much.

We have a broken garage door spring. Not going to fix that. We need a new door anyway. Our's is rotten in a few places. (wood)
Talked to Overhead Door. 6-8 weeks lead time to order a door. Looks like it get's a new spring until then. Tomorrow.

I washed my car with the pressure washer yesterday. Wife says ‘leave it out and I will do the side entrance by the garage’. She tells me this morning ‘it just stopped’.
Ya think?
Can’t repair. Pin gouged the cylinder. :(

I hate that..when parts want out there is no stopping them.

I saw an article this morning. Apparently the Feds are concerned now about having an explosive device 18" from a driver's face. Air Bag inflators, again. 30M of them. :BangHead:

So a while back,OMR gave me a 2nd shirt for this year’s coffee thread shirt. No way it’ll fit me and I doubt I’ll ever get the MRS Dukie to wear it.

so I’m thinking of sending it around to each of the ones on the shirt, seeing you all will sign it, then I’ll frame it and hang it from the shop wall
