Stop in for a cup of coffee

Starting what was supposed to be 3 days of escorting workers on a nearby coms site. Roof repair bubbas cancelled due to weather, cell tower workers are looking at gale force winds Wednesday, they should cancel but probably won't. There's HVAC replacement and pest control too, will be busy up there despite weather.

Sounds like a hoot....

Lots of safety gear

Oil change day for my Dakota. Damn I wish I had a hoist because that filter on the 3.9 is a bugger to get to with the 4 wheel drive and there's parts of me that don't like getting up and down any more. There's a Goodyear store not far away that does good work with a owner that is honest and doesn't sell you services you don't need. I should get out of the oil change business and give Dave a call.

Made it to shop,3rd cup going down slow.
08:00 start pulling engine out. This is a job i think in going to regret.i have this feeling…

Of all the folks here,i would think you would have a hoist. Had coffee with an older fellow yesterday, doing his own oil changes. Hes in no shape to do them but proceeds anyway.
$40 for labour is cheap,no used oil or filter to deal with.
But i get it, he wants it done right. Greasing is a big thing.
2/3 shops in town dont grease unless instructed to do so. Yet they charge for it.

Tempted to block access to shop today. But Roger is coming to pick up his snowmobiles.

Something I never planned for, a property with a shop so I could have a hoist. We love our old house but the old brick garage built in 1919 isn't mechanic friendly. I do all my work in the driveway. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::lol:

Well, this is new.
Stand under jeep to unbolt all the underside stuff and after a few minutes im dizzy. How cool is that? This could mean im another step closer to retirement.

Good morning to all the no lift owners, and all the owners getting dizzy looking up on the Tuesday morning
I got all the yard work done yesterday so I am looking forward to a slow easy going day to pick and choose what to do:thumbsup:

Hmmmm

I have a nice 8.75 section with 3.55 gears and cone sure grip for sale. If anyone here needs it. I'll give you a good price... The strong case. 489
