Stop in for a cup of coffee

So the traffic lights here go from green to red. And cameras on every one. Think i will drive below speed limit.
 You don't want to see any red though!

Do they at least have them synchronized to the speed limit?
We have a Hwy here Hwy 76, built about 10 years ago. Was started 20 years ago and never finished. Was supposed to be a freeway. No lights and uesd ramps. Well whrn it was completed it had lots of lights. But you could go from one end to the other non stop because the lights were set for 65MPH. The speed limit. Great. Well some dum *** changed the limit to 55 and never reset the lights. Now that drive is a big mess. And it's a speed trap....

Yup... DC intentionally keeps the lights jacked up to generate revenue....

First time I really experienced the phenomenon was when I was working in Lawton, OK for a bit. Mild acceleration and maintain the speed limit you could go all the way across town without having to stop.

Thing of beauty

I get a kick out of those "right turn lanes" at many of the signals. Not marked ONLY and have about 200' on the other side of the intersection to cut off as many as you can and continue on :steering:

Imade the mistake of asking why a string of lights was only halfway on the tree. "Oh, I need you to fix those-only half light up. And there is another string that does the same..."
 After checking a few bulbs on each, I found 2 other strands that were good and threw the bad ones in the trash.

Just got this from the VP email. Buddy of mine is a distributor. Can’t believe an 82 percent increase!

It just hit 64 here. (and humid) Strong winds and chance of rain on the way.
73 here and really windy...and we're in Kansas.
We get wind almost daily, but this stuff today is ridiculous.

We are in the 60's. Tonight, wind warning. Sustained 35mph with gusts to 65mph. Highs at freezing tomorrow lows in the teens. Feeling there will be some issues with this front.

And I’m sure I have Covid now. No smell all afternoon.

Got to a different vantage point in the valley while Christmas shopping today. I saw snow where I expected to, Figueroa Mountain. Up one of the canyons/river bed back about 2 ridges there was a bunch more. 20-25 miles east of town, more of Los Padres National Forest. :D Sunny SoCal

All right my coffee crew casting code decipher sleuths. Here are some numbers from pix of 383 and heads plus 4 speed that is laying in a barn by me the guy told me to make an offer on, but I am 383 illiterate. Any ideas what I am looking at? I have not yet physically laid eyes on em yet, these are the pix my buddy sent me. Knowing I was a Mopar *****.
