Been sunny but cold all day. Went out to Costco and it wasn't that busy really. Guess people stayed home in the warm.
Wife's been cooking most of the day. Lasagna, spinach lasagna (lots of cheese and really good) and a large stew. Lovely smell through the house. Now she's putting into containers enough for two and then into the freezer for another day. Spinach lasagna for supper tonight.
Will be -18c or 0 F tonight plus a windchill.

My wife use to make spinach lasagna and yes very good. the only way she could get me to eat cooked spinach. lol
Wife uses 3 types of cheese. So good. Same here with the spinach.

Back home we make GREAT cheese, and I always felt if you need 3 different cheeses, none of em are very good

I like extra sharp cheddar better but then there's horse radish cheese, blue cheese and just about any cheese on anything is good.
Went out to get the recycle bins... of it's just nasty out there right now. Snowing and a cold wind.
I hear ya just about froze my bottom parts off snow blowing today.

So I hear your getting a taste of winterpeg weather these days. Us manisnowbains have about 4 weeks of this **** to put up with then it will slowly start warming up. The days here a noticeably longer still light out at 5:30 pm. Whoo Hoo. Stay warm and be careful extreme cold is a dangerous thing.
Morning guys and Happy Tuesday. -22 and feels like -29 at present. Coldest day so far this winter. That isn't a challenge BTW.

Yeah I like the longer days for sure. And you're right about the cold, it can be very dangerous.

Yup have had black patches on my neck from where the wind forced its way into the snowmobile suit and froze skin. I just don’t go out riding when it’s-30 anymore. But that’s when the sled really goes, leans that 2 stroke right out. Got to be careful not to hold WFO for to long or bad things happen like melting pistons. Too much air in the air
Have you had those patches checked out by a skin specialist? I get checked once a year and he burns keratosis off my head. Those are pre-cancerous spots.
I also walk around a lot in the summer without a shirt on so he checks me all over. It's covered by OHIP but well worth it to prevent cancer.

No the black patch’s I refer to is frozen dead skin. Like a blister. New skin grows underneath and the dead stuff falls off.
Still good to have yourself checked out though. It just might save your life

True. As a holder of a class 1AS commercial drivers license I am required to have a complete physical, the whole kit and kaboodle every 2 years. So far so good. Soon it will be every year if I want to keep the license
