This is Project Whirlwind .
A littler introduction. The car used to be yellow when I bought it back in 2006. It was a 318 car with bench seat (that was broken) and a 904 transmission. It was my first car that I purchased with my own money that was saved from kindergarten believe it or not.
I drove it for awhile like that and enjoyed it, but the speed bug got me fast. The first engine I built was a hot 360. I had 360 magnum heads, roller rockets, small cam and cheap headers. It was fun.
Unfortunately, I got radiator fluid into the oil during either an in engine head swap or changing of the intake. Regardless, I got my first credit card and decided to build a stroker engine. I followed the recipe that Brian at IMM built. I purchased RHS heads and had them ported by Brian. I also got a cam spc from him, 410 scat stroker crank. I believe the dynamic compression was 8.2 and I was on E85. Man, 4.10 rear gears, Full reverse valve body from Cope and she was a blast. Unfortunately, it was a lot of car for me at that time 4200 stall too. I sold everything to a guy in New Zeland, engine, radiator, rear end, and wheels and it lead me to start building what i have now.
