Stop in for a cup of coffee

Here is a boat with 6 of our 600hp V12s. Nothing like 3600hp toy

Louis Davis on TikTok

The last time I went to the Unlimited Hydroplane races at Mission Bay San Diego there was an Unlimited powered by 8 2 stroke outboard power units, I forget which manufacture. The boat was altogether different from the usual Unlimited, more of a 38' long catamaran with all those power units mounted in lines of 4 and driving a single prop. Wish I could remember it's name, was owned and sponsored by a big truck freight outfit from LA. Wild to look at and whata sound :D:steering:

Going into turn 1 that day

Probably not
No joke. It would take 3-4 turbos, but most of the pro stock diesel pulling trucks are putting down north of 3,000 hp on ISX blocks.

About a month ago, Ziegler’s 6.7 broke the world record, over 3300 HP

For sure, they do great but getting the power to the water is a bit of an issue in anything but race applications....even then.

No doing anything. I am only allowed to do what Marie says and allows. She was there to hear that!!

Dude, you are so screwed... Now you have to listen to your wife and do everything she says... Per doctor orders... :wtf:

She will not let you forget that... :drama:

Done for the day. Some lifting and pushing the chevelle onto(into) trailer and the hip didnt take kindly to the abuse.
Got a few things moved around and out of shop to make a little more room. And its getting really humid…

E,
Not to derail but the shareholders meeting is July 25th 1100hrs. I forgot to reply when I offered you the tix! Marie may think you are a rockstar getting into The stadium for Team meeting! It is the Mecca! Go Pack Go!

Sounds like something a wife would say...
Finally got to a person with some knowledge… bad news is I’ve now wasted a combined 43 hours on the phone over the last 10 days. I have to restart the process of moving my 401k, not by choice, to them. The outgoing company fubared up their end.

Thank you so much , but we will not be able to attend. As of now that may be within days of being allowed to walk again as long as things go well. I am so far behind and just getting worse, not to mention work. I told her to Lambeau in Feb just to see it, but she isn't a Football fan. Hell she saw the field again today when I was at my doctor (right across the street). I do appreciate it and owe you OS from last time yet!

OK...so a poll here...

Had a great conversation with the Sheriff's Office today about the Valiant and registration/taxes (WV has personal property tax...pretty low rate but it's still there)

Recommendation was that instead of going with the original 1964 plates and registering the car as a classic, I should just get a standard registration on it as the tax rate is 30% HIGHER on classic cars....

She also recommended a garage that will actually look at a pre-1972 car.

Thoughts?

WV is a rear plate only state so I could still put the original 64 plate on the front...maybe do a vanity plate on the back....

I would go with a standard plate.

Go with whatever is cheapest.

I'm also thinking that it doesn't run afoul of the "To and from shows and club events" issue... Not that I would expect to get stopped out this way...but I would like to take a ride on a Tuesday after work and not have to think about an overzealous LEO

knowhatImean?

I did standard plate on my 1927 rat rod to dodge the inspections and questions. But then have to pay like $80 per year now instead of $200 ish 1 time. Money wise, cheaper for collector here, but now I can and do drive year round. Collector is limited here for months of use.
