This might fool the youngsters. It is an antique but I thought it would be fun. A very common tool in its day and carried by many farmers.

Multi tool is somewhat correct.
It was known as a alligator wrench. The V end could grip like a pipe wrench or pliers. The other end with notches is a wrench for various size nuts back when they were square.

Here’s one I don’t know what it does other than spread something, made of aluminum, 22” tall end to end

Found this in one of my small parts drawers.

Looks like it has a slot for a large flat blade screwdriver, but maybe not.
Countersunk top and bottom.
Threaded inside and out.
Diameter about the same as a quarter.

In my second pic it almost looks like that end is made to fit a flare.

Am I stumping the tool man?

It sure has me stumped.
