Now to another note. A dozen eggs here just hit 5.25!!! Store brand, Guess I’m going back to raising chickens again.

And I did find something interesting.

For 2 pounds of chicken boneless breast, store brand, it’s 21.79!! But I noticed a 7 pound full chicken, 8.73$ . So I bought it and we roasted it in the oven, my daughter who doesn’t like chicken that much, loved it and couldn’t get enough. So I’m buying a few of those today.

And the same daughter is on adhd meds, apparently there’s a worldwide shortage now and it’ll be 12 weeks at a minimum… and yes, that includes all the different types. So it’s gonna be interesting at schools coming up very soon.

And I got an email from the bank, no new debit cards for a while, there’s a material shortage to make the magnetic strips and rfid chips.

In other words, the supply chain isn’t getting any better. Damn

They went up here at the farm down the road to $2.25! Freaking inflation!
I’d paid that in a heart beat. Cheapest I’ve found is 4.79 locally. Which is absolutely stupid considering I live 1.25 miles from the largest egg producer in the country…

That aforementioned egg producer stopping selling road side at their farm when covid started. Used to be able to get a dozen for .50 cents. Hard to believe that was only 3 years ago.
