Stop in for a cup of coffee

Here is my opinion not based on experience just looking at it like a business transaction. Yes you can gross more at fancy auction, however by the time you deduct all the fees associated you are right back to a rough net of say 70-80. Now you add all the nonsense, pressure and logistics to comply with said fancy auction and you have exhausted your true resource, your time and energy. The time and energy involved to simply put it in an ad sheet for say 80 and check out the landscape and appetite for buyers is dramatically less. And net is same as asking unless you negotiate lesser value. Your car is stunning and anyone looking at it will know it’s worth and the folks involved at that level in this hobby are not your average guy. Just thinking out loud to ya.
Many in the MOPAR world know it seeing it at Carlisle, MITP, and MCACN. Also got the six-page spread in Mopar Collectors Guide a couple years ago and the MITP U tube video a guy made. I'm probably just going to do like you say put it out there and see what the interest is. May see if Tim still has Jay's phone number??

I think you will find Mr Leno will want a Celebrity discount.
I would personally stay away from the big auction houses as suggested.
You have a beautiful car, and the best time to sell like anything else is when you don't have to.
List it and sit there till you get what you want.

Exposure matters. Yes.

How do those cosigner places work? Thought you set your "Reserve" number then they add onto that to make their money. They get a lot of looks and national exposure.
Gateway Classics has a location in Olathe.
I cruised the warehouse of one down in Orlando on a Coffee and Chrome morning.

I was looking at a car a few years ago at their Chicago store great people to work with. I'll be close to their KC show room in a couple weeks and will have to stop in and talk to them.

So, here is my tomorrow. Looking at just over 18hrs. Now considering getting a start on it today possibly. The extra time is worth missing Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Chicago, Gary, Indy, Louisville, etc. Any one of those could easily make that time up or worse...

Going to the coat factory in burlington?

Just talked with Herb. He wants to do Friday AM, so I will likely get going today and break the trip up some. More for Marie and the dog than me.

I will mention it Craig!

Too bad you’re not coming thru Louisville or Indy, I’d meet ya along the way for lunch.

Always better to detour around Chicago............
Rush hour when I went through and an accident. Spent 1.5 hours at slug speed watching everyone do the Illinois shuffle.
Car didn't over heat it didn't even get above normal. Glad I took Johnny mac's advice in getting a good Griffin radiator.

Let me know if he'd like a fancy muscle car for his museum...

If he needs an example of a crappy pre-rusted slanty '75 Duster, let me know...

Ugh. Absolutly hate crawling in traffic sucking exhaust. Diesel makes me nauseous.

I used to drive through Chicago 2x a week, for months at a time transporting Fed inmates on a bus.............. Always a pain in the ***.
